BLACK (& WHITE) CATS FRIDAY!

Jersey & Onyx are 10 months-old and need sponsors! SNAP Cats rescued Jersey and Onyx from Fresno, CA. These two are the sweetest cats ever! They’re the first ones to welcome you into their FeLV+ Habitat, and constantly following you around meowing for attention, pets and love. Since these siblings are bonded we’d like to see them adopted together.

Since Jersey and Onyx are FeLV+ they’ll need to be an only cats or with other FeLV+ kitties.

If you’re interested in Jersey and Onyx please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

Gigi is 7 years 10 months-old and sponsored by Michael Snider. SNAP Cats rescued GiGI from Palm Springs, CA. This girl is all Calico! And you know what THAT means. Sweet one minute; not so sweet the next. Age has mellowed her a bit, but she still has that edge that makes calicos, well, calicos. The perfect home? A calm, kid-free environment with a high perch and a window to watch the birds outside would be ideal. Oh, and wet food. GiGi LOVES wet food. Gotta have that! The right flavor, of course. Which varies from day to day. Of course.

If you’re interested in Gigi please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

WHITE CAT WEDNESDAY!

Violet is 2 years 3 months-old and sponsored by Alex Huie. SNAP Cats rescued Violet from San Bernardino, CA. Violet was found in a small colony of stray cats in San Bernardino covered in mange. She was taken to a local rescue called PawLove.org, where Kimberly treated Violet for mange, got her spayed and up to date on vaccines, and that’s when they learned Violet is FIV+. Kimberly’s organization doesn’t normally adopt out cats (they help where we can with the homeless animal population and those that need them), so she reached out to us.

We think Violet will thrive in a quieter environment with fewer kitties. Right now she’s a bit skittish, but once she gets to knows you she loves pets and attention. So we’d like to find a new home for Violet ASAP.

If you can give Violet a new home please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

TWO FOR TUESDAY!

Pumpkin and Zoe are 1 year 2 months-old and still need sponsors! SNAP Cats rescued Pumpkin and Zoe from Orange County. ACTUALLY, we rescued their mom from Orange County where she and two other females were being abused. Little did we know that their mom was, well, pregnant, and a week later out popped 5 kittens! Two of the five (Brittany and Dora) have been adopted. One, Cali, unfortunately passed away. Which leaves Pumpkin and Zoe, who are kinda bonded so we’d like to see them adopted together. Both are very playful, but can be a bit skittish at times, but we think once they’re in a “calmer” environment they’ll open up and be fine. They’ll just need a little time to adjust.

BTW: If two kittens aren't enough for you, please add Poe. All three really enjoy playing with one another!

If you’re interested in Pumpkin and Zoe please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

Meet Basboosa and Samboosa (oh lordie I wish we could!). They’re almost 6 years-old. Samboosa has moderate ataxia while Basboosa does not. But they are bonded sisters so we rescued both after they were surrendered to a local shelter due to their mom having stage 4 cancer. As the shelter’s memo so eloquently states, “Both Basboosa and Samboosa are very sweet cats. They like human attention, get along well with other kitties, and could benefit a gentle weight loss journey.”

BLACK CAT FRIDAY!

Wolfie is 2 years-old and sponsored by Sheila Reilly. SNAP Cats rescued Wolfie from Solano Co, CA. Wolfie is a very playful boy. He would do best with another cat about his age to run and tumble with, but Wolfie's old enough to be an only cat. Wolfie LOVES attention and his wet food. He’ll cry at your feet until you feed him his wet food treat. Wolfie gets along great with the others here, uses the litter box 100% of the time, and will make a wonderful addition to your family!

If you’re interested in Wolfie please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

Poe is 1 year 7 months-old and sponsored by Wyeth Hunnable. SNAP Cats rescued Poe from Orange County, CA. Poe was a tiny kitten (look at that face!) about to be euthanized because he had a broken leg and pelvis and no one wanted him. Although we don’t consider medical issues (that can heal) special needs, we just couldn’t let tiny Poe be euthanized. He deserved a wonderful life. So we pulled him at the last minute. Because kittens heal so quickly, Poe was running and jumping within a couple weeks of arriving here. And he hasn’t stopped! Poe loves to run, climb and play with his kitty friends Zoe and Pumpkin. Poe also loves people and will make a great addition to any family, especially one with other cats about his age.

Thanks to a generous Operations Grant from , we’re able to purchase three months’ worth of food for Poe as he awaits his forever home.

If you’re interested in Poe please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thank you.

WHITE-ISH CAT WEDNESDAY!

Matilde is 9 years-old and sponsored by Alice Weigel. SNAP Cats rescued Matilde from Mozambique, Africa. Matilde is a very sweet kitty. She’ll greet you when you come in the room, and solicit pets until it’s enough. She is a Calico after all. Matilde gets along well with other cats or will fit in nicely as an only cat.

BTW: Please don't be afraid of FIV. It's nothing. Really. Slightly compromised immune system. That's it. Just like a FIV- cat, Matilde will live a long, healthy life if you take good care of her. Matilde's not aggressive toward other cats so there's no chance of her transmitting it.

Thanks to a generous Operations Grant from , we were able to purchase three months’ worth of food for Matilde while she awaits her forever home.

If you’re interested in Matilde please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

We're giving "Two for Tuesday" a rest today because Candy just joined the 60% club! YAY!!! For those who don’t know what The 60% Club is, FeLV+ adult cats have a 60% chance of shedding the virus (FeLV) naturally. If our FeLV+ adults stay healthy and show no signs of disease, we’ll test them every 6 months to see if they’ve shed the virus. Well, Candy just tested negative for FeLV! Which is fantastic because Candy is one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats here! She gets along great with others here, uses the box 100% of the time, and will make a wonderful addition to any family.

If you’re interested in Candy please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

(AN EVEN BETTER) BLACK CAT FRIDAY!

Professor X is going to his (hopefully) new home with Mary, one of our diehard volunteers who’s been taking care of Professor’s delicate paws (they get scraped up when he drags them instead of walking). Thank you, Mary, for (hopefully) giving Professor X a wonderful, new, loving home!
