August is Clear The Shelters Month! 🐾🤍

But what exactly does that mean?

Clear The Shelters is a nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign that brings communities together to help animals in shelters find loving homes.

And this month matters SO much. Shelters and rescues work year-round to care for animals who have been lost, abandoned, surrendered or rescued and when shelters reach capacity, every adoption, foster, donation and even social media share can make a difference.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry family member, August is the perfect time to visit a local shelter and meet the pets waiting for their person. 🐶🐱
