OUR HISTORY:

Canine College has been family owned and operated since it was founded by John M. A pioneer in dog training, John began his career in the Army's K-9 Corps during WWII. After his time in service, John established canine police programs throughout the country, as well as protection work for Macy's, The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney, Bronx Zoo and Columbia University. John was featu

red in National Geographic and Sports Illustrated for his contributions to the field of animal behavior. Canine College has been continuing John Behan's philosophy of dog care and service for 75 years. Under the expert direction of John's daughter, Sharon Lanoue, and her husband Michael, your dog will receive the same personalized level of care as that enjoyed by their own dogs.
