When I first met Roger, I said to myself, “this is not a dog, it is a human in dog form.” Roger understands every word you say. He might not always listen, but he certainly understands. He is a Sheltie, after all. 😜😜😜 if nonchalant needed a photo in the dictionary, Roger could supply one. He is just always CHILL. So one day, I officially and legally changed his name to Roger The Best Dog Ever. He has earned the title 100 times over. Roger TBDE is about to enter his 16th year of life in a few weeks and handling that number with all the aplomb we have come to expect from this gentleman dog. We ❤️ you so much, Roger TBDE.

If there is one thing I can’t resist, it’s a giant meathead. Winnie is the most delicious chonker you have ever seen, and one of the sweetest dogs in the world. We had a nice little photo shoot out in the sun today after she sniffed out all the treats she could find in the treat bag. Winnie is up for adoption through Beezy’s Pack and truly she is a gem.

Thoughts and prayers for all the chihuahua and chihuahua mix owners out there. They are not ok. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jenny says she was not built for this weather in any way shape or form.

As we all dig our way out of this impressive snowfall, we will be closed tomorrow. We will still be available for telehealth visits between the hours of 9-5. We will be back on the road Tuesday! Stay safe!

Today we said goodbye to a true hero to the town of Ridgefield. Loki faithfully served his town for 8 years, and his acts of bravery and valor are many. He was my patient for the past 8 years, and I was honored to serve him in his retirement years. While we will never forget all of Loki’s heroics, I will also never forget how funny he was. He would always jump on the counter, barking for treats. And he loved his Kongs- he would chew on them with his tongue sticking out the side. He was truly a joy to work with, and I’m so glad I got to know him. He will be dearly missed.

Cutest little Munchkin kitten EVER! Her fur looks like a Chinchilla! Meet Nica, an absolutely precious 9 week old kitten, who weighs in at only 1 pound 10 ounces but has the personality and temptations eating ability of a kitten 3 times her size. Munchkins have a type of dwarfism, which means her legs will be short- think of them like the dachshund of the cat world. They are personality plus and she is already the star of her house.

A very happy New Year to all of our clients and followers! As we move into 2026, I am so full of gratitude for what we accomplished in 2025. As we approach 500 patients and over 250 clients, I can’t believe what our tiny team managed to do in 3 1/2 months time. And we couldn’t have done it without our amazing clients, who have spread the word about us through Facebook groups, Google reviews, word of mouth, sharing our cards…. It has truly been overwhelming in the absolute best way possible. Cheers to 2026 and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish this year!!!
