Well, we don't see this happen very often. Ginger is our 23 year old 'chesnut mare'. I don't call her that because of her color and gender. I call her that because she's extremely moody and doesn't like to be messed with. All horse people will completely understand!! Despite that, I love her dearly! ❤️
But here's the thing, she can be grouchy the entire week, but as soon as Thursday rolls around and she sees the children, she becomes a completely different horse. Well, I guess her true personality comes out. She absolutely loves these kids! It's quite remarkable to witness the change in her demeanor.
Isn't that the way we should be when we've spent time with Jesus? People should see the child that God created us to be. They should see Jesus in us.
Sometimes I miss the mark. Just this week I allowed a complete stranger to 'rattle my cage' and I said some things I shouldn't have said. But guess what, Jesus still loves me. ❤️
The more time we spend in His presence, the more delightful we become.
Selah.
