Penny is looking better and feeling great! She was showing out in the morning. I missed the first part of her shenanigans.

Even farm security got a spooky upgrade this year! Wonder if the lesson horses are ready to meet a giant glowing spider on the way to the barn 🥰

We made it through the rainy weekend. Tornados touched down near Aiken and in Waynesboro— luckily they skipped this area.

My phone died this morning so I didn’t get to take a lot of cool cloud pictures.

Today was very busy on and off the farm.

It takes a village to make things run smoothly— and I have an amazing village! 💕 We are blessed to have the family, friends, and clients that we do!

This morning started with Aurora and I meeting my dad for our weekly Thursday breakfast at Waffle House. We’ve been doing this at least 6 years now!

Lessons followed afterwards. I’m so proud of these three!! Actually, I’m proud of all my students this week. I don’t have pictures of everyone. All of my students this week not only improved BUT they loved being challenged to learn new things, showing confidence in their skills. 💕🐴

I want to extend a big thank you to Lauren and John for delivering two round bales (their children are pictured during lessons today) AND helping to get them out to the field. My ponies are very happy!

Once morning lessons and chores were done, Aurora and I went to Edgefield for some business things then spent time shopping the town square. ☺️🐴💕

Luna: 1, Gate: 0. 🤣 We’ve officially reached the 'creative engineering' phase of her training. What’s the cleverest thing your horse has ever done to get their way? I need to hear your stories! 👇

I have a lot to say about this weekend. I’ll post those things tomorrow…

Until then, Aspen’s mom sent this to me and my heart is so excited. 🪽

These two are going to do great things. They’re going to learned a lot— about themselves, about each other. It’s going to be lots of hills and valleys on their journey. However, I’m so excited to see how this story unfolds!! 💕

A bored filly makes for a destructive filly— unless you use it for a training exercise 😆

We will miss these two babies. Contessa is missing her buddy and quite grumpy.

But I’m happy for Lisa— all she talked about this summer was bring her babies home. Today she was finally ready to take them to their new place. Now Lisa can enjoy sunrises and sunsets with her horses. 😊

Congratulations, Lisa! I wish them the best and you the best on this new adventure!!
