In just under a week, we will be having our next movie night and we will be showing Space Balls!
Pacific University bought ALL of our November movie night tickets for their students so if this movie night does well, we’re thinking of hosting a special Halloween movie night on the 28th (the following Wednesday) where we’d show Hocus Pocus! If that’s something you’d want to see us put on, show us by filling all our seats for this upcoming movie night next Wednesday!

Each month we have to come up with about $5-6k to just keep our doors open. We have been scraping by every month for as long as we can remember and that’s just the sacrifice we have been willing to pay to stay debt free but we’ve finally reached the point where we are now, after over three years of operating, in debt for the first time. It is so incredibly frustrating when I also look at all the events and other plans we have in the near future that we are expecting to do well for us financially but still being stuck in the current financial put we are in. I had to put my own apartment rent on my credit card this month just to keep from getting an eviction notice and I had to apply for a loan since we aren’t even relatively close to getting enough to pay the rent for the rescue space for next month.
We are so incredibly grateful for all the amazing things we have going for us right now and we want to be able to fully celebrate the achievements we’ve been making without the excitement being dimmed by the threat of being thousands of dollars in debt looming over our heads.
I seriously love and appreciate each and every one of you who has shared, liked and donated to us! You are what helps us keep our kitties healthy and off the streets. We will keep going as long as we can for their sake but we need some serious assistance to get us out of this pit.

We have been thinking about this program for about two years now and I think it’s finally time to get it up and running!
We are officially opening a new program called Cats Care Cleaning where we will select up to 4 pet parents each month for a pay-what-you-can deep clean! We know times can be tough and we want to be able to help pets stay united with their people and out of shelters. Whether it’s caused by mental health, physically health or something else entirely, sometimes we let our living spaces get so overwhelming that we don’t even know where to start so it just stays the way it is.
This is NOT a housekeeping service!!! This is for those who need a big change for their living environment and want some help getting it back to a point where they can manage it on their own again.
I want to make this exceptionally clear: WE. DO. NOT. JUDGE. We don’t care if you’re a legal resident here and have a stupid little piece of paper to prove it or not, we don’t care if you have a hard time managing your space, we don’t care how you identify, everyone is welcome to submit a form if they feel like it would be helpful for them. We know it can be difficult to reach out and ask for help but we want you to know that we’re here to help, not judge you or the situation you’ve found yourself stuck in.

OMG PLEASE recommend us on Iammoshows page under the shown post! We have been trying to connect with him for over two years now since we absolutely love his work. It would be so incredibly helpful for us right now to have him partner with us to get some of our cats adopted

More grant denials this month. I’ve been trying so hard to find a way to make this sustainable long term and still make ends meet in the meantime, yet this month I find myself with my rent on my credit card, questioning how I’m paying for the surgeries of the 5 cats getting fixed today AND somehow make enough to pay all our November bills on time. I know that a large part of why we’re struggling so much is due to the week I was out and the rescue was closed last month but regardless, we are struggling.
We would need about $6k to make all our bills on time next month AND pay for all the medical work for the kitties this month. We appreciate any and all help we can get right now. Financial donations are most helpful at the moment but if that isn’t possible for you right now, here’s some other ways you can support us:
