Your pet can’t tell you when they’re feeling stressed, but their behavior often can. Anxiety in pets can show up in many ways, from excessive vocalization and pacing to hiding, overgrooming, changes in appetite, or destructive behaviors.

While occasional stress is normal, ongoing anxiety can affect your pet’s physical health, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life. The good news? Early recognition and support can make a big difference.

🐾 Common signs of anxiety:
• Restlessness or pacing
• Hiding or overgrooming
• Excessive barking, meowing, or whining
• Changes in appetite
• Destructive behaviors

🐾 Ways to help:
• Maintain a consistent routine
• Provide exercise and mental enrichment
• Create a safe, quiet space
• Speak with your veterinarian about treatment options if needed

Every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and supported. Because being anxious is exhausting enough when you’re a human; pets shouldn’t have to deal with it too.

Heartworm disease is spread by mosquitoes and can affect pets year-round—even indoor pets. 🦟❤️

🐾✨ PET OF THE MONTH SPOTLIGHT ✨🐾

Meet Uni & Mabel — two patients we’re still emotionally recovering from giving back to their owners. Veterinary medicine is basically just professional attachment issues with scrubs.

Uni was a 6 month old tortie sphynx who talked ALL day long and made sure everyone knew her opinions at all times. Tiny little bald goblin. Huge personality.

Mabel was a 1 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who completely stole everyone’s hearts (especially Tech Rylee’s) with her nonstop tail wags and sweet little kisses. Honestly she knew she was adored. Dangerous level of charisma for such a small creature. 🩵
