Professional trainers deserve a seat at the table.
On Monday, USETA submitted a letter to Bill Moroney and the USEF Board of Directors requesting that professional trainers be included in the search process for the next Chief Executive Officer of the United States Equestrian Federation.
Professional trainers are the connective tissue of our sport. We develop riders, care for horses, support owners, work alongside licensed officials and competition managers, and experience the realities of our industry every day.
As the national voice for professional trainers, USETA believes our perspective can help shape a strong future for equestrian sport. We appreciate the Board's commitment to gathering input from across the membership and respectfully ask that trainers have meaningful representation throughout this important process.
Together, we can help ensure the next generation of leadership reflects the needs of the entire equestrian community.
