This guy has definitely stamped the breed! ❤️🐎

Sadly it’s been reported that Medaglia D’Oro has died at age 27!!

He was a great champion and tremendous sire! He sired champions like Rachel Alexandra, Songbird, Nitrogen, Good Cheer, Plum Pretty, Tam Tam, Talismanic, Bolt D’Oro, Elate, and many more.

He will surely be missed!

A little polo to celebrate a week of showcasing the Thoroughbred! 🐎🤎

The opening polo game at the 2026 Thoroughbred Makeover brought the week’s festivities together before the final rounds across each division.

At Aspire Equine, our mission is to advocate for Thoroughbreds both on and off the track, championing the opportunities that allow them to thrive in their second careers. We’re proud to sponsor the clinics at this year’s Makeover and support the education and horsemanship that help make those new beginnings possible.

Here’s to celebrating the versatility of the Thoroughbred and all that lies beyond the track! 🏇

A great day at the Horse Racing Women’s Association conference! How awesome to listen to the Kentucky Derby and Belmont winning trainer/owner duo of Golden Tempo, Cherie Devaux and Daisy Phipps Pulito. Excited to cheer them on in a couple of weeks at the Breeders Cup!

Meet Classy! 💙

Classy Azul is a two-year-old in training by Frosted out of Curlabella, and the first foal we bred using a stallion outside the Mid-Atlantic region. Thanks to a good friend’s generous gift of a breeding season to Frosted, we had the opportunity to make this special pairing possible.

We have high hopes for Classy Azul and hope he will help carry on Frosted’s legacy following his passing earlier this year. Whatever lies ahead, Classy Azul already has a meaningful story to tell—one rooted in the friendship and generosity that brought his sire and dam together.

Fun fact: His name is a nod to Clase Azul tequila, a favorite of Kim’s husband and sons. We look forward to celebrating his first win by ringing the bell atop the tequila bottle! 🍾
