Last show of our season, and went out with a bang! Warren and Junior put in 2 solid tests in Training 1 and 2, picking up 2 seconds. Susan had a bit of a rough go in Training 3, but rode it out, and scored a third. Much better test in First 1, scoring 65 and second. Warren and Purdy were the stars of the day, scoring 69 % in Training 3 for first, and 66% in First 1 for another first. I am so very proud of our horses and dedicated show riders this season: Alex, Paula, Heidi, Kelsey, and of course Warren and Susan. Congratulations on a job very well done!!♥️

It's been a minute since we did a hunter show... first time for Grever's Junior (Castle Victor) and Kelsey, and Thor (Trooper Thorn) and Heidi. Thor was a little overwhelmed, but hard work by Heidi got him into the ring for flat classes, picking up 2 fifth. Kelsey and Junior were amazing, winning the puddle jumpers, picking up reserve champion in beginner jumpers, and winning both pregreen over fences, fourth in flat, for pregreen champion. Such good boys and ladies!!! Very proud.

Fun day at FVSA Mini event today! Alex elected to do just the dressage portion of the pre-starter CT, had a lovely tests, for a second place with a good score. He's really going to be special. Kelsey had a great day on Warren and Susan's Junior (Castle Victor) in Starter. Nice dressage test, good score for second. Clean stadium. And then cross country...super brave and bold, with one miscommunication and a stop. Then they turned on beast mode, ending up in 3rd. This was his second mini...did one unjudged last year with Alex. Kelsey's smile at the end said it all.
