Kyra - Construction worker (really she just needs a helmet; she loves to bonk her head against everything and everyone)

Foster appreciation week is a wrap!

Concluding our highlight we have Chuck and Peggy, who are currently fostering Pluto.

From Peggy: "Chuck and I have had the honor of fostering cats through Madison Cat Project since 2016. We fall in love with all our fosters, including our current boy, Pluto. In spite of his rocky start in life, he is the epitome of spirit and joy. We know that he will make someone a loving companion."

Day three of Foster Volunteer Appreciation Week!

This is Maureen, who is fostering Atlas and Wheatly, a bonded pair of female two-year-old cats.

Maureen says that fostering is "a chance for me to give the kitties a quiet place to unwind from a shelter setting, which can be stressful for some cats. When my foster cats get adopted, it's fun to see how excited the family is about their new furry friend."

Yet another foster highlight!

Pictured here is Cindy, and her foster Boo.

"Boo was SUPER anxious when he first came to us - we didn't see him for about 2 weeks. But by following the great advice given by MCP, we slowly gained Boo's trust. Now whenever we're around he comes out to be pet. He's a sweet boy who's learning how to relax and play. I consider it a privilege to be part of his journey—helping him to enjoy life more, and to find his forever family."
