✨ We are pleased to announce that two KFPS Ster stallions will be presented for testing in Clarksville, Michigan, on September 3–4, 2026, at Elite Dutch Sport Horses. The evaluation will be conducted by KFPS judges Cory Terpstra-van der Meer and Gotien Sipsma.

The stallions, Weard H, owned by Andre and Lissane van der Kooi, and Ryker fan Black Earth, owned by Jo Clough and Dan Malliet, were selected by KFPS judges in November 2025 to advance in the stallion testing process. This testing phase includes medical examinations as well as under-saddle and driving evaluations.

🖤 Weard H

Auwert 514 x Fieke H Kroon AA

Weard H was born on March 8, 2023, at Mrs. Hageman-Buitenhuis in Dalfsen, Netherlands.

Weard’s dam is a daughter of Epke 474. His granddam is a Ster Preferent, a Fridse daughter, and his great-granddam is a Stb Ster by Leffert 306.

Weard’s inbreeding coefficient is 1.17, his kinship is 18.4%, and he measured 1.63 m as a 2½-year-old. He is out of Mare Line 12.

🖤 Ryker fan Black Earth

Thorben 466 Sport Elite x Wander 352

Ryker fan Black Earth was born May 8, 2021, in Black Earth, Wisconsin.

Ryker’s dam is a Stb Preferent *4, his grandam is a FB Preferent *4, an Ouke 313, and his granddam is a Stb Ster Preferent *6, by Jochem 259.

Ryker’s inbreeding coefficient is 1.17%, his kinship is 16.64%, he is 1.73 m tall, and he is out of Mare Line 002.

The stallions are trained by Kai and Lisa Zijlstra and will be assessed both under saddle and in driving during this evaluation.

The results of this testing will help determine whether the stallions will advance to the final phase of the process: the 70-day testing.

We wish Weard H, Ryker fan Black Earth, and their owners and trainers the very best during this important stage of the KFPS stallion testing process! 🍀
