New track sand is being put down and the entire surface is being grated. New railing is up and any damage to the track has been completely repaired. The base of the racetrack was not affected. This track will be 100% restored when all the work is completed.

This post is to set the facts straight about the rumors regarding the racetrack. Yes, we had damage to the track due to an error in blasting for a new sewer line. The damage was primarily the railing and rocks on the track. We have removed the entire surface down to the base that had rocks on it and a new railing was made. On Friday Feb 13 all new material will be put on the track and the entire track will be grated. Once the work is completed the track will be inspected and reopened. The base was NOT damaged, and the racetrack will be safe for training and breezes. The entire end of the racetrack was NOT blown up. Updates with photos will be posted in the next couple of days.
