Shopping locally offers many tangible benefits such as “The Local Multiplier Effect.”
The Local Multiplier Effect: For every $100 you spend at a local small business, roughly $48 to $68 gets reinvested directly into your local community. In contrast, a much smaller fraction of the money spent at national chain stores stays local.
These businesses also create jobs in your community and give personality to the place that you call home. To show your support and keep these types of businesses around please show up for us. Go to the local store instead of the big box store. Eat at the small restaurant instead of the chain. Use your dollars as your voice and build the community that you want by supporting the businesses that you want to see here.
As always, we will have our market open on Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM. Lots of local fresh produce, homemade breads, local honey, flowers and more. We will also be supporting another local small business by having on site selling their amazing barbecue.
