After years of research, we’ve bred a bee that can withstand Colorado winters. Meet the Bison Apis. This hybrid has a tiny, shaggy buffalo coat to survive our late-spring freezes. And they do more than just pollinate. They stampede through the clover!

We are the Knapp family, and we are thrilled that Knapp’s Bees has officially moved our operations to Lakewood, Colorado.
