**ADORABLE ADOPTABLE OF THE DAY!!**

Meet Kicker! 💙 Kicker is a sweet and gentle 11 year old senior dog whose golden years shine with loyalty, warmth, and a heart full of love. At this stage in his life, Kicker has truly mastered the art of balance—he is equally delighted to curl up beside you for a cozy cuddle as he is to give you space when you need it. This thoughtful companion knows how to read the room, making him a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a calm yet affectionate presence.
He is great on a leash which makes walks with him not only peaceful but also enjoyable. When Kicker came to us he had an infection in one of his toes. This eventually required a toe amputation (hence the pictures with his foot wrapped) but this is now completely healed and he has no mobility issues.
Kicker blends right in with other dogs, making him a perfect for families who already have dogs, as well as those who may be welcoming a dog into their lives for the very first time. Just no cats for this boy, as he is a bit too curious.
Beyond his charming quirks, Kicker’s loyalty stands out the most. He is the type of dog who forms deep bonds with his people. He has all the wisdom of a senior, wrapped up in the softness of a gentle soul who still enjoys life’s pleasures—treats, walks, cuddles, and companionship.

Kitten season has officially filled every foster home with us, and shelters and rescues across the metro are already overflowing with tiny kittens and mommas needing safety, food, medical care, and loving homes.
From newborn bottle babies to playful little fluffballs, these kittens are depending on our community to help them survive and thrive. The Rescue Project is in urgent need of support to get through the busiest season of the year.
🐱 FOSTERS NEEDED
Fostering saves lives. Whether you can foster one kitten, a bonded pair, or a whole litter, adults, opening your home gives these babies a safe place to grow until they’re ready for adoption. All supplies and vet care are provided through The Rescue Project.

Pancake is the definition of a love bug. She is 1-2 years old. She doesn’t just enjoy attention—she demands it (politely… at first 😄). She’ll happily soak up all the pets you can give and will remind you with the sweetest little love nibbles if you dare to stop too soon. Ignoring her requests for affection? She has done an amazing job raising her kittens and is ready to retire into a home where she can be spoiled the way she deserves. She’s still a bit skeptical about dogs, but with time and proper introductions, she’s willing to tolerate them if she must. Her heart truly belongs to her people.

When she first arrived with her kittens, she was shy and protective — a devoted mom just trying to keep her babies safe. But once she learned she could trust her foster family, Penny’s true personality blossomed.

Now she’s chatty, affectionate, cuddly, and full of charm — truly a “Lucky Penny.” She loves attention, enjoys being brushed (which is perfect for her fluff) and happily spends time close to her people.

Penny has gone from cautious mama to loving companion, and she’s ready to find a forever home where she can finally be the one getting spoiled and cared for. 💕

Bella is a 13-year-old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix who is looking for a soft place to land for her golden years. She’s a gentle senior girl who still enjoys the best things in life — car rides, naps in the sun, pup cups, cozy dog beds, toys, and snuggling up in the human bed close to her people of course.

Bella gets along well with other calm, small dogs and has a quiet, easygoing personality. She will be your best co-worker if you work from home and would do best with someone who is home more than they are away. Like many senior pups, she does have some incontinence and occasional accidents in the house, so she’ll need a patient adopter who understands that aging dogs sometimes need a little extra grace and care.

What Bella offers in return is companionship, sweetness, and the kind of love only a senior dog can give. She deserves a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and cherished for the rest of her days. 🩷

She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly affectionate and devoted to her person.

She has formed a very sweet bond with her foster mom and clearly prefers a calm, gentle environment. Carrie Ann would do best in a home without children or other pets where she can relax and build a strong connection with her adopter. She also seems to prefer women to men. For someone patient and understanding, Carrie Ann will reward you with deep trust, companionship, and lots of affection once she knows she’s safe and loved

**ADORABLE ADOPTABLE OF THE DAY!!**

Meet Pebbles! 💛 Pebbles is a sweet 3 year old, 10lb, male, chihuahua mix looking for his forever people. This lovely boy was kept chained outside if you can even imagine that! He does well in his kennel and sleeps through the night. He is doing amazing with potty training and has not had any accidents inside since his neuter. He really likes his foster Mom, does well around other dogs, and even enjoys playing with the cat in his foster home. He would do best in a home with another friendly animal. He can be very shy and nervous around men so he needs a female only home or the males in the home need to be patient with him. With love and patience, he will blossom and we have seen tremendous strides already. He loves to roll in the grass and make zoomies around the yard. Due to his history, Pebbles struggles with leash walks and would do best in a home with a fenced yard.
