A Few Long-Overdue Brags! 🏆

Okay everyone, we have a few brags that are a little overdue! 🤭 I haven’t purchased the official win photos yet, but I also haven’t been keeping up with posting our brags—and with two more weekends of shows coming up quickly (and hopefully more brags to share!), I figured it was time to get these posted!

So, without further ado…

Saturday, July 25th — North Kingstown, Rhode Island

Fila was awarded Reserve to the Major under Judge Ms. Denise Flaim.

Rosie earned herself a spot in the Bred-By Exhibitor Working Group, and in a lovely lineup, she went on to take a GROUP ONE!! 🏆
The judge had some truly wonderful things to say about Rosie, and while we may have left this show without any points, these two accomplishments made the entire trip more than worth it!

Saturday & Sunday, August 8th & 9th — Lebanon, Pennsylvania

Fury and I ventured out for her very first show (aside from BPUP).
We had no love on Saturday, but Sunday more than made up for it! Fury took Winners Bitch for a 3-point Major under breeder-judge Mr. Tim Peterson, from the Bred-By class at just a few days shy of 8 months old! ❤️🏆

I couldn’t be more proud of these girls and everything we are accomplishing together.

We have two more weekends of shows coming up, so fingers crossed for more to come… 🐾🏆❤️

It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of our dear friend Gerald Robinson. He was a mentor, cheerleader, photographer, and all around great person. We will be working with his family to help out how we can.

Hey everyone! It’s been a little while since we’ve posted anything, so we just wanted to provide an update from us here at Tesori.

First and foremost we want to thank all of our current puppy buyers for providing loving and caring homes for all of the babies we have brought into this world.

Our “D” litter is turning 2 in a few days, so health testing will be done, once we have been able to secure some local health clinics, and coordinate with all of the owners to get everything done. Our 2 show prospects from this litter are Chewy and Romeo. They have both offered us some promising results in the show ring thus far, and we are hoping to be able to pass on some of Luger’s genes.

Our “E” litter will be turning 2 years old on the 10th of July, and we are again working on securing health clinics for 2 of them, as Ranger is already all scheduled for his testing. Rosie is our show prospect from this litter and she is doing wonderfully in the show ring as well. We are working on securing a stud dog for her future litter, which should hopefully be planned to happen in about 6 months, if all goes as planned.

We have some unfortunate news about our boy Luger. While it appears to be nothing life threatening, we have found that he is no longer producing live semen. We’ve had him checked by 3 different reproductive veterinarians, and there are no answers, other than most likely his age. He will be 8 years old on Saturday. We did put him on a course of broad spectrum antibiotics and plan to recheck him in the next month or so. While we haven’t given up hope, we are now needing to have a back up stud dog for any future litters we were planning on using him for. 😢

Cognac was supposed to be our next breeding prospect, as she turned 2 in December. Her heat cycles have been untimely, so we were delayed in finishing her hips and elbows. And unfortunately she has become injured. We thought it was a torn ACL, but have recently confirmed it is not. She tested positive for a tick born disease called Anaplasma, and was put on a course of antibiotics. Unfortunately due to her injury, or at least we believe it to be a result of her injury, her right hip came back as borderline hip dysplasia, with slight subluxation, which we also didn’t realize she was in season when she was X-rayed (because she went into season a month and half early). We were told to get her swimming, as that is the best exercise for her, to strengthen her muscles and then to recheck her OFAs in 6 months again.

We have decided to continue to keep the two girls from our “F” litter as show prospects, Fila and Fury. They both got to show in BPUP (4-6 month beginner puppy competitions) for a total of 6 days. Out of those 6 days, Fila earned Best of Breed, two days, the 1st day earning a Group 3, and the second day earning a Group 1. Fury earned Best of Breed, four of those six days, and earned a Group 4 the 1st day, then earned two Group 1s. We are still willing to place both or one of these girls in show homes at this point. They will be 6 months old on June 13th, and I currently have intentions of showing one of them during 4th of July weekend. We will see what their futures hold for us.

💙 Chewy 💙 got mail this weekend! He is officially Tesori’s very 1st Champion! He showed a total of 8 days, and each of those 8 days, he walked away with a win! Finishing with 3 majors (3 points each) and a total of 16 points, all from the Bred-By classes, Chewy has made us proud! We cannot wait to see what the future holds for this boy!

We’d like to thank everyone who has helped make this happen, from his owner, to our foundation breeder, our mentors, our friends, the judges who pointed to him, and to the many others involved in this journey with us.
