GREENVILLE, TEXAS—Sweet black mouth cur mix Jazzy girl was brought into the shelter as a stray and not reclaimed! Her finder said that she is a great girl, and they intended to keep her, but she “did not like” their chickens. They did say that she is good with children, good with dogs, and good with cats!! She is thought to be around one year-old and she has all sorts of fun puppy energy still! She can be adopted for $85 which includes mandatory spay and rabies vaccine! If you are interested in meeting this life of the party precious lovebug, please come and visit first thing in the morning when she becomes available for adoption! 🐾🩷

GREENVILLE, TEXAS—Poor Ace (listed as Great Pyrenees mix) in cage 28 is the third longest resident and has been here way too long for as big of a boy as he is! He is 4 years old and listed at 106 POUNDS! He’s a whole lot to love! ❤️❤️ Ace was surrendered because he got out of his enclosure and was said to be bothering the neighbor’s livestock. However, he was said to be good with his owner’s livestock, pets, and children. Also, he was kept outside, so he is not house trained yet. Ace is thought to be friendly with most animals, but he and the dog in the kennel beside him seem to be driving each other crazy in the shelter setting. I’m hoping for both of their sake that one of them makes it out quickly and/or they are able to be separated soon! If you are interested in meeting him, please come and visit first thing tomorrow! 🐾❤️

GREENVILLE, TEXAS—This gorgeous, big boy in cage 29 was brought in as a stray and is listed as a 3 year old 80 lb. pittie mix! He is such a sweetheart when he is out of his kennel and a total lover, but he has a really big bark, and I think that scares potential adopters away when they pass by his kennel and you can tell that makes him sad! He has a lot to say from his cage and he can be quite a talker in the shelter setting! He wants some attention after being locked up away from everyone, can you blame him? This poor boy is the second longest resident now and he is quickly running out of time. He can be adopted for $75 which includes mandatory neuter, microchip, and rabies vaccine. If you are interested in meeting him, please come first thing tomorrow! The shelter is open seven days a week 9 AM – 5 PM! 🐾❤️

GREENVILLE TEXAS—Longest resident 3 year old Patches was surrendered to the shelter with her sister for not being good with livestock. Her sister was adopted out, thankfully! But Patches is still here, all alone, completely heartbroken, and beginning to shut down completely. She is honestly a beautiful dog—very calm and very quiet, very sweet and lovable! She is not demanding and requires very little of anyone. She has not had any adoption interest and as soon as the shelter fills up again, she will be the next to lose her life for lack of space in this small, underfunded shelter. I’m hoping she doesn’t spend the last of her days trembling on this cold concrete floor just wishing for love. Patches is already spayed so her adoption fee is only $17! If you have any interest in a meeting this sweet girl, please come and visit as soon as you are able! The shelter is open seven days a week 9 AM – 5 PM! Someone please save this precious soul before it’s too late. 🐾💔

GREENVILLE, TEXAS—This sweet and perfect 1 year old Great Pyrenees boy in cage 21 is totally giving up on life at this point and not even eating. He needs a savior quickly!! He was originally brought into the shelter as a stray, adopted out for one day and then returned because they felt he was protective over them toward their other dogs. Folks, this dog should not have even seen the other dogs in the home that quickly. Out of the shelter, dogs need a period of decompression before they will show their best self. I don’t think people understand how stressful this setting can be, but let this image and sound burn into your mind as this boy cries and refuses to even look up anymore. We need a foster or we need an adopter urgently! Who can save this sweet guy before it’s too late?? 🐾

GREENVILLE, TEXAS—Sweet 1 year old Max was adopted and returned a few weeks later because his adopters said they lost their home and could no longer keep him. Max is so sad in his kennel and doesn’t understand what he did to be returned to this scary place, but he is definitely ready to meet his forever family and get out of here! He is good with dogs, good with kids, and house trained. If you are interested in meeting Max, please come and visit today! 🐾

GREENVILLE, TEXAS—Sweet 9 year old (in one month 🎉) German Shepherd senior Edward was brought into the Shelter as a stray by his finder, who took him to the vet and saw he was microchipped however, they could not make contact with the original owners. The shelter also attempted to contact the owners yet his stray hold is up and no one came looking for him. 💔 The finder said he did not respond to the name Edward so that could’ve been like an original name, but she said that he did come to the name, “Buddy” so they went with that. She stated that he is house trained, he does well with both cats and dogs, and that he knows basic commands! He is also already neutered so his adoption fee is only $17. Someone needs this sweet guy and he definitely needs to make his way out of this concrete cell and into a loving home! Let’s find him a home to celebrate turning nine before his birthday arrives! Come and meet him today to see if he might be a good fit for you and your family! 🐾

GREENVILLE, TEXAS— Sweet 4 year old Great Pyrenees mix Maggie in cage 10 was brought into the shelter and surrendered because her owner said they cannot afford her care any longer. She has developed some skin issues that seem to be allergy related and though they’ve tried some allergy medication (which they said helped), she is obviously needing additional care currently. She was brought into the shelter and considered for medical only but they decided to go ahead and put her on the adoption floor to see if some kind person would be willing to take her in and support her care! She is good with dogs, good with kids, and house trained! If you are interested in meeting Maggie, please come first thing in the morning when the shelter opens! She can’t wait to meet you!! 🐾
