Goose is a 3 1/2 month old border collie and julyhound mix puppy. She loves to run laps in the yard with her brother and give her foster mom hugs and lots of love! Fetch with her red lantern is her favorite, along with laying in the sun and rolling in the grass. She is very food motivated, doing well with the “sit” and “kennel” commands, but needs a patient family to continue her potty training. She can be shy at first but is very social once she warms up a little bit! Her adoption fee is $325. If you are interested in Goose, please fill out on application at istodaymydayrescue.org!

Meet Coco, a 3-year-old, 9 lb. Yorkie mix who would like to make one thing perfectly clear: she is NOT a princess. 👑

Forget the bows in her hair, the frilly dresses, and the dainty little dog routine. Coco will rip that bow right out, ditch the cute outfit, and head straight for the backyard to play like she has something to prove. This girl apparently learned to play with the big dogs in her home, and she has absolutely no intention of acting like a delicate little lady now!

Looking for a dog who wants to cuddle on the couch for hours? Keep scrolling. Coco has things to do! There are yards to run around, toys to play with, and chew bones that aren't going to chew themselves. She has a busy schedule, people!

And obedience school? Well, Coco is the student who gets sent to the principal's office for talking during class, ignoring instructions, and generally doing whatever she feels like doing. She's a work in progress, but the good news is that she's easily redirected. She's not trying to be bad; she just has her own ideas about how things should go!

Now, don't let all that sass fool you. Coco loves people, dogs (a playful doggie sibling would make her so happy) and cats.

Coco has a unique way of expressing herself, too. She likes to growl when she's got something to say. Before you panic, this is her way of chatting, not being aggressive. Once you understand her little language, you'll realize she's basically a tiny, furry commentator with a lot of opinions. She also spins around when she is excited, waiting for her dinner or greeting her people, apparently that is a Yorkie trait.

At bedtime, Coco settles down and sleeps quietly in bed with her humans. A crate, however, is apparently a violation of her civil rights, and she will be sure to file a formal complaint. Loudly. 📣

She's working on her housebreaking, so she'll need a family willing to be patient and consistent while she figures it all out.

Coco's dream home:
🏡 A house with a securely fenced yard where she can run and play
🐕 A family that appreciates a rough-and-tumble girl instead of expecting a dainty lapdog
🐱 Cat-friendly accommodations are just fine!
❤️ Humans who love a little sass, a lot of personality, and a dog who keeps life entertaining
🚫 Apartment living is not for this girl!

Coco isn't looking to be your little fashion accessory. She's looking for a family who will let her be the funny, feisty, big-dog-playing, bone-chewing, opinionated little character she is.

Congratulations! You found your forever best friend!

Bullet wants to go explore the world with you! She wants to go for a run or a hike or a walk with you. Or sit on your lap. Or sleep next to you while you work. Or ride in the car with you. Or wait for a carrot while you cook. Or get ice cream from the drive through. Or watch a movie with you on the couch. BUT, the most important part, is being with you!

She is potty trained and crate trained. She can sleep in her crate but she is an AMAZING cuddly sleeping buddy. Bullet walks great on a leash. She is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped.

Bullet earned her name and survived! She is waiting for her forever family in a foster home in Wildwood, MO.

You don’t have to go all the way to the 100 acre wood to find our Winnie the Pooh puppies. They are right here in the St. Louis area and are accepting applications. They might be small but “Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”
