Misty Hollow Smooth Fox Terriers

10/10/2026

We have some wonderful opportunities currently and coming up for young adult & seniors seeking their perfect companion 🏡!
https://mistyhollowsft.weebly.com/available.html

With the high success rate of frozen semen, it allows us to send off our fabulous young boys to be spoiled in their own homes after they finish their championships and health testing here, while still allowing us to use them in our breeding program down the road. If we kept everyone, we’d never be able to allocate the time they deserve individually!! The retirement homes of Misty Hollow (and all Fox Terriers) are a key piece in keeping our wonderful breed going.

Those interested can contact via PM or apply through our website:

“Owen” from our New Years Litter will be ready to head off to a companion/pet 🏡 soon!

Owen is extremely well socialized, has traveled significantly and adjusts very well to new situations. He loves people, other dogs, kids, and his very favorite- toys!

He did have his tooth enamel sealed (Due to missing enamel as he matured) with a board certified dentist & oral surgeon. It will be important that routine dental care- brushing/cleaning at home, as well as regular anesthesia cleanings with your vet clinic are followed through on- As should be for all Smooth Fox Terriers.

Both parents OFA Tested & Normal for OFA Hips, Cardiac, Patellas, LCP & BAER.

He is with us in PA this week at shows, and we welcome any East Coast folks who may be interested to come meet him!

While we were off this weekend from shows, we took a quick trip to Earthdog!

After being introduced to quarry on Friday night at practice, we decided to try Solo in his first trials today.

He passed his Introduction to Quarry, as well as both Novice Runs for his Novice Earthdog title!

A special shout out to the Greater Twin Cities Earthdog Club for putting on these events, it is so encouraging to see natural instinct in our breed for what they were bred to do🦊

Fox Terrier Friends 🦊

These two lovely seniors (12 years old) are looking for a soft spot to land in their last few retirement years as their owner’s health no longer allowed caring for them. Currently they are being fostered with a family member, and we hope to transition them directly to their new family/families to ease their stress. Regardless, we will ensure they are safe and cared for.

They are bonded, and ideally would stay as a pair, but do not have to be placed together in the perfect home(s).

There is no distance requirement and they are able to be placed anywhere in the U.S. in an approved home/application, the rescue is happy to work with us. Those with additional questions are welcome to contact myself, or the rescue directly.

I am happy to facilitate transport- East Coast Montgomery week is an option for East Coast Homes.
Breeder take back is not an option due to health, anyone with further questions is welcome to directly message me.

Recent Petsmart sales meals a reward restock, everyone has their favorites! 🍭

We work extremely hard to keep “crate time” positive, as safe crating extends far beyond daily use at home. Almost every crating here means a treat reward, chew, bone, or feeding time for each of our dogs.

It is the safest way for travel, feeding and monitoring food/supplements in our multi dog household, keeping them safe & out of trouble while we are out and creating healthy respect and boundaries between dogs.

Crates are utilized in almost every emergency such as a natural disaster, fire, car accident, etc. In these events it is so important for them to associate crating with being a safe space, in order to not add additional stress and fear in times of crisis.
