When teaching a new command like sit or down, your response needs to happen almost immediately so the dog connects the behavior with the feedback. In professional training we say you have about a second to mark the correct behavior. Short, focused sessions every day help dogs understand what you’re asking and build reliability over time. Consistency from everyone in the household is the real secret to success.

Spring and early summer mean more time outdoors… but it also mean venomous snakes are becoming active again. To help keep your dogs safe, we will be offering Venomous Snake Avoidance Classes soon!

⚠️ What makes these classes unique:
These sessions involve controlled exposure to LIVE venomous snakes, including rattlesnakes, cottonmouths, and other native dangers your dog may encounter in the real world. This allows dogs to safely learn how to recognize and avoid these threats before a dangerous encounter happens.

🐕 What your dog will learn:
✔️ How to identify venomous snakes
✔️ How to avoid approaching them
✔️ How to make safer choices when encountering wildlife
