šŸŽ„šŸ° 5 DAYS LEFT! Can You Help Us Spread the Word? ā¤ļøšŸ’š

Our Cherrydale Seasons of Joy fundraiser ends October 26th, and we're making one final push to help raise much-needed funds for the rabbits at Rocky Mountain House Rabbit Rescue!

We're asking our amazing supporters for one simple favor:

šŸ“£ SHARE OUR FUNDRAISER WITH 10 PEOPLE!

That's it! Send the link to 10 friends, family members, coworkers, or anyone who might enjoy doing a little holiday shopping while supporting a great cause.

šŸŽ 40% of every purchase goes directly back to RMHRR, helping us provide food, shelter, veterinary care, and other essentials for the rabbits who depend on us.

We know not everyone is in a position to make a purchase, and that's okay! Sharing costs absolutely nothing, but it could make a huge difference.

🐰 If just 50 supporters share our fundraiser with 10 people, that's 500 people who could discover our fundraiser!

Our volunteers have worked incredibly hard to make this fundraiser possible, and we'd love to finish these final five days strong. We are less than halfway to our goal! Help us cross the finish line!

ā¤ļø Will you be one of the people who helps us reach 500 more potential supporters?

šŸ›ļø Shop, share, and help us make these last five days count!

šŸ“… Fundraiser ends October 26th!

Jessica came to us from a hoarding situation where multiple rabbits were suffering from respiratory illnesses. An out-of-state facility took her in, but struggled to adopt out Jessica because her respiratory problems wouldn’t resolve!

Further evaluation revealed a mass in her larynx. She went into cardiac arrest during the evaluation and was resuscitated by her wonderful Exotics specialist. The mass is inoperable and causes her to snore and make unusual breathing sounds. In the beginning, we didn’t know what her future would look like!

Many of you will remember the birthday celebration we held for her—a chance to surround her with love when we weren’t sure how much time she had left. Today, Jessica has remained stable and we she is closely monitored by our medical team and volunteers. We are grateful for every day we get to care for her!

Her story is a reminder that rescue doesn’t end when a rabbit arrives somewhere safe. Sometimes it means searching for answers, navigating uncertainty, and providing ongoing care when there isn’t a cure. Through it all, Jessica deserves comfort, love, and people who continue showing up for her.

Our fundraisers help make that commitment possible. 🐰

Our Cherrydale Seasons of Joy fundraiser ends October 26, and 40% of every purchase benefits RMHRR. Reaching our $7,000 sales goal would provide $2,800 toward veterinary care, food, supplies, and the everyday needs of Jessica and the other rabbits who depend on us.

As you prepare for the holidays, please consider shopping our catalog and sharing it with friends and family. A gift for someone you love can also help provide care for a rabbit we love. Link in bio, stories and our website.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased, shared, and supported this fundraiser.

You help us keep showing up for rabbits like Jessica, whatever their future may hold. šŸ’•

Our first spay and neuter clinic—and a second chance for Cookie.

The Colorado Rabbit Care Initiative (CRCI) CRCI is a community program through Rocky Mountain House Rabbit Rescue, helping Colorado rabbit owners access essential care through affordable spay and neuter services and RHDV vaccination opportunities. By reducing financial barriers, we aim to keep rabbits healthy, prevent unwanted litters, and help families keep their beloved companions at home.

We have now received applications for more than 50 rabbits needing access to affordable care. We selected five applicants for spay and neuter procedures at our first clinic. One of those rabbits was Cookie.

Cookie is a 2-year-old girl whose family noticed blood in her urine. It was believed she had a UTI initially but it quickly progressed to persistent, heavy vaginal bleeding—a warning sign of possible uterine cancer requiring urgent spay!

When we first heard Cookie’s story, our spay and neuter clinic didn’t exist yet. With hard work and support from generous donors, veterinary partners, and volunteers, we made it possible—and gave Cookie a second chance.

During surgery, three uterine tumors were found.

Cookie has been recovering well, and this program gave her a second chance at life. Her story shows just how much access to affordable veterinary care can mean to a rabbit and the family who loves her.

But the need is greater than the spaces we can currently offer. Donations designated for CRCI program help fund care for more rabbits like Cookie. Every contribution helps us continue this work and reach more families waiting for assistance.

šŸ“… Our next clinic is planned for a Friday within the next couple of months. Availability will depend on funding and space, and we’ll share more details once the date is confirmed.

Thank you to our veterinary partners at Orchard Veterinary Medical Center, volunteers, and donors who helped make this first clinic possible—and helped give Cookie a healthier future.

Please consider donating to CRCI through Rocky Mountain House Rabbit Rescue on the designated page. Funds must labeled for the CRCI program!

Good Evening, Friends!

Every bunny deserves a cozy spot to relax and take in the world around them. With those tall ears and that soft brown coat, she sure does look comfy and content right where she is.

The fundraiser update that might get scrolled past… but we’re still showing up for the rabbits.

The sales shown here total $2,706, which means $1,082.40 for RMHRR through our Cherrydale Seasons of Joy fundraiser. To everyone who has ordered or shared—thank you. Your support matters. šŸ’œ

With 8 days until October 26 we’re still $4,294 away from our $7,000 sales goal

Honestly, it’s discouraging when updates receive little response. We keep asking because these funds help support the rabbits who depend on us.

If you’re already shopping for holiday gifts, wrapping supplies, kitchen goodies, or a little something for yourself, please consider shopping our catalog. 40% of every purchase comes back to the rescue.

Not your style or not in your budget? Sharing the fundraiser with a personal note about why you support RMHRR can help us reach someone new.

We’ve made the shop link impossible to miss! It’s in our bio, website, stories, and newsletters. Let's hold each other accountable and take action today.

šŸŽ„šŸ° 10 days left to turn holiday shopping into help for our rabbits!

Our Cherrydale Seasons of Joy fundraiser has reached $2,401 in sales! With 40% coming back to RMHRR, that’s $960.40 for our shelter. Thank you to everyone who has purchased or shared!

We’ve had several days without sales, and we need your help to keep the momentum going before the fundraiser ends October 26.

To reach our initial goal of $7,000 in sales, we need another $4,599—about $460 per day over the next 10 days. Reaching that goal would provide $2,800 for our rabbits’ care.

RMHRR is volunteer-based. The same people bringing this fundraiser together also help with daily shelter operations, adoptions, and other projects while balancing jobs, families, and pets. Every post, email, and reminder represents time given out of love for our rabbits. We care deeply, but we can’t do this alone.

Your participation also helps us plan for the future. We want to focus our volunteers’ limited time on fundraisers our community enjoys and supports, so we can continue raising the funds our rabbits depend on.

šŸŽ Already planning holiday purchases? Browse the catalog for holiday dĆ©cor, gift wrap, kitchen items, and gifts for friends, family, coworkers—or yourself! The Santa advent calendar pictured here could even hold rabbit-safe surprises for your bunny.

Catalog not quite your style? You can still make someone’s day šŸ’

We have about seven veterinary partners and many hardworking volunteers who would appreciate some extra holiday kindness. Consider purchasing goodies as a thank-you for the people who do so much for our rabbits. It’s a thoughtful way to give back while supporting the shelter!

Every purchase helps fund hay, fresh greens, litter, veterinary care, and the daily needs of rabbits waiting for loving homes.

You don’t have to place a large order to make a difference. A small purchase, a shared link, or a text to someone who loves holiday shopping can help our volunteers’ hard work reach further.

Tomorrow marks a special first: our Spay It Forward clinic through the Colorado Rabbit Care Initiative!

What began as a hope to make essential rabbit care more affordable is becoming a reality—with our first clinic happening October 15 and October 16 at Orchard Veterinary Medical Center.

Behind every appointment is a rabbit who is loved and a family grateful for the opportunity. This milestone is possible because our community came together to help.

A heartfelt thank-you to our donors, veterinary partners, volunteers, and everyone who shared the program or offered encouragement. We’re especially grateful to Orchard Veterinary Medical Center for hosting and providing care for our rabbit families.

šŸŽ The clinic care packages were sponsored by Bunslady, adding a little extra love for the rabbits heading home.

Please keep our participating rabbits, their families, and the veterinary team in your thoughts tomorrow. We’re so grateful to everyone who helped us take this first step—and hopeful for the families we can help next.

🦁 Lions and tigers and bears… oh, mama! 🐰

When Dorothy was transferred to Rocky Mountain House Rabbit Rescue from an outside facility, she arrived very pregnant and just about ready to pop. She wasn’t traveling down the yellow brick road alone—she had three tiny passengers waiting to make their entrance!

Along came Lion, Tiger, and Bear, and Dorothy’s adventure in motherhood began. ā¤ļø

Now 9 weeks old, her little trio is growing up… although apparently nobody has informed them that the milk bar should be closing.

Behind this sweet little family is a community that helps make their care possible. From a safe place to land to the everyday supplies that keep growing rabbits fed and comfortable, your support helps families like Dorothy’s along the way.

šŸŽ Our Cherrydale fundraiser is a simple way to help! Shop for holiday gifts and goodies, and 40% of sales benefits the rabbits at RMHRR. Every purchase helps support the care we provide—and sharing the fundraiser gives more people a chance to join in.

Shop through October 26 and help us keep caring for Dorothy, her three determined little milk customers, and all the rabbits who call RMHRR home.
