Ekar Farm connects people to community, and community to the earth. We nourish body, heart, mind and spirit at two sites in Lakewood and Aurora.

We grow sustainably produced fruits and vegetables so that all who are hungry can come and eat. Ekar Farm and Community Gardens is a communal urban farm, inspired by Jewish values. We work to build community, provide experiential and environmental education, and grow sustainably produced fruits and vegetables, expanding access to those in need. From the platform of our urban farm, we apply the pra

Last weekend (August 15th) the farm was hit badly by the severe weather that moved through the South Denver metro area. It took us a little time to post and let our community know as we navigated strategies to fulfill produce distribution obligations and formulate a general game plan for the rest of the season.
