All Mixed Up Dog Rescue We are a 501(c)3 non profit with a mission to place mixed breed dogs in loving homes in Colorado We strive hard to match the right dog to each family.

All Mixed Up Dog Rescue is a new group wanting to help mixed breed mutts who often get overlooked in shelters. Most of our dogs come from other states who have an overpopulation of unwanted dogs who were found as strays. Some of these dogs had a family but have been tossed aside for various reasons. Others may have special needs, medical or behavior, that only a rescue group like ours can take on.

All Mixed Up Dog Rescue is a takeoff from a previous rescue that I created – German Shepherd Rescue of the Rockies (GSROR) founded in 2011. While in rescue our dogs live in foster homes so we can personally get to know them. We will work with each dog, teaching house manners and basic obedience, getting them ready for adoption. We are dedicated on working with the ones who need a little more attention so they can adjust well to a better life. Our goal is to find them forever homes where they can live out the rest of their lives with love and happiness. We know that if you share the same interests this will make for an easy transition and a better relationship. After adoption, we will continue to be there for the life of the dog with each of our adopters. We will always be here to provide help with any health, training, or behavior issues that may arise. At All Mixed Up Dog Rescue, we are a 501(c)3 non-profit group that depends on community support through fundraising and donations.

After 2 days at the vet, Beau gets to come home. He had the last 2 shots for his heartworm treatment and now on a 30 rest period and then will be on the hunt for his forever family. We could use some help with his bill that came to $393.24

Transformation Tuesday - Hayden, now named Mac was picked up off the streets of texas and taken to the shelter. Due to his skin issues he was not a canidate for adoption. He got a rescue tag and a wonderful lady pulled him out. Thanks to Leslie Gill Martin Hope Hayden was on his way to recovery. The rescue could no longer take him so we said yes since we were taking his girlfriend Tessa. They both arrived here in 2023 and happy to say - both were adopted.

keep Beau in your thoughts as he goes back to the vet monday & tuesday for his last 2 heartworm injections. These are so hard on the dog with things that could go wrong. He's a strong boy so we know he'll be alright :)

I have looked into a few board & train programs for Smokie and we'll have to hold off for a bit. I know after training he will still need to be worked with each day to keep it fresh in his mind. I have an upcoming surgery and will not be in any shape to do this so it will be put on the back burner for now. Miss Anna was adopted today by a really good friend of mine, she couldn't be in better hands :) Anna came to us a few months ago when her owner was arrested and all the dogs were tossed out on the street. They were given food and water while posting on fb for a rescue. All 4 dogs made it out safe (living on the street in comments)
