MaxFund Animal Adoption Center and Vet Clinic will operate under the name: True Companions Animal Shelter & Clinic.

While our name is changing, our lifesaving mission remains. This new name reflects the relationships at the heart of our work, between people and animals, and between our organization and those who believe in our mission. It reflects where we are headed as an organization and who we are. It’s meant to better communicate our role as a source of true companionship for both animals and the people who love them.
We want to ensure you: while our name is changing, our mission is not. This new chapter upholds our same, steadfast goal of providing compassionate care, healing, and lifelong connections for animals who need us most.

Meet Blade 🐾

Blade is a 1-year-old pit bull mix who was originally found as a stray, though we believe he may have previously had an owner. Now, we’re hoping we can help him find his forever home!

This stunning boy tends to be a little nervous with new people and may take some time to warm up to strangers, but once he does, his adorable puppy energy shines through. He loves to play with toys, roll around on his back and receive belly rubs. He is also quite food motivated, which has made him a fast learner with commands; continued training should be a breeze!

Blade seems as though he would do well with a canine sibling and would love to meet your dog to see if it’s a good fit. He has yet to meet kids or cats, but can be tested for compatibility here as well. Could you be his new best friends? Come meet him to find out!

Do you have room in your heart and home to change the lives of two animals? Consider adopting a bonded pair!

Kelly and Guapo have been residents of Meow Manor for what feels like an eternity. Initially this pair didn’t know each other, coincidently coming in with similar ages and ailments, partial paralysis in the back legs. When they began their time here, it was evident after a few short days that they were meant to be together, and now they are inseparable.

These stunning cats have just as much, if not more, energy than their fully-able-bodied counterparts. While they do require daily, specialized care, they are no different than any other cats that come through our doors looking for a forever home.

Meet Cottonball ☁️

Cottonball is a 12-year-old spayed female whoo transferred to the Cat Shelter from Utah in hopes of finding her fur-ever. She may be a senior, but this soft girl still has a lot of energy. Her favorite things to do include climbing her cat tower, zooming around every corner of the room, playing with wand toys, and spending time daydreaming near a window.

When you come home to her from a long day of work, you’ll be greeted pleasantly with a gentle rub of her back on your legs. Otherwise, she prefers pets on her own terms and will need time to trust you. If she finds herself no longer wanting affection, she’ll make it known with a soft nibble, a boundary-setting queen!

Respect her space and her heart could be yours! Interested in meeting this soft girl? Stop by the shelter during business hours.
