๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›๐Ÿ’• 5 BENEFITS OF PETTING A CAT (AS IF WE NEEDED AN EXCUSE!)

๐Ÿพ 1. Less Stress: petting a cat may help lower cortisol, a hormone associated with stress.
๐Ÿ˜ป 2. Better Mood: spending time with cats can boost feelings of happiness and companionship.
๐Ÿ’— 3. Purr Therapy: a catโ€™s purr is soothing, and some research explores how its frequencies may relate to relaxation and healing.
โค๏ธ 4. Heart Health: positive interactions with pets may help lower blood pressure and support cardiovascular health.
๐Ÿ˜‚ 5. Theyโ€™re SOFT. DUH. Honestly, reason enough!

Need a little purr therapy of your own? Meet Milo! ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿค

Milo is a playful, clever 7-year-old gentleman with a big personality and plenty of love to give. He enjoys exploring and soaking up attention from his favorite people! He does have some special medical needs, including dental disease and diabetes, but with a consistent care routine, heโ€™s ready to bring years of adventurous companionship to the right home. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™

Could Milo be your new favorite cuddle buddy? Come meet him and see for yourself!

โค๏ธ๐Ÿพ A Heartfelt THANK YOU to SPCA International!

Weโ€™re incredibly grateful to SPCA International for their generous donation of a much-needed ultrasound machine to Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue! ๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿฑ This incredible gift will help us provide better care for the cats who depend on us and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

SPCA International has spent years supporting animal shelters and rescue organizations across the U.S. and around the world, helping smaller organizations make a bigger impact through compassion, collaboration, and vital resources. ๐ŸŒŽโค๏ธ

Itโ€™s partnerships like this that keep the world spinning toward a brighter future for our feline friends. Every act of generosity gives us more tools to protect, heal, and advocate for cats in need. Together, we can make a world of differenceโ€”one cat at a time. ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›โœจ

From all of us at RMFR, thank you, SPCA International, for believing in our mission and helping us give our cats the care they deserve! ๐Ÿ’•

๐Ÿ’• And She Lived Happily Ever After ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜ด

Phoebe (previously known as Hissy Elliott is settling into her forever home like she owns the place! ๐Ÿ˜ป She loves chasing and wrestling with big sis Frankie, and sheโ€™s patiently working her way toward those sister snuggles. ๐Ÿฅนโค๏ธ

When sheโ€™s not playing fetch with her mouse toys or supervising the neighborhood from her catio, youโ€™ll find this chatty girl investigating running water, asking for attention, or lounging belly-up in her favorite cozy spot. And her favorite place? Being held like a baby, of course! ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿˆ

We love hearing updates like these and seeing our former RMFR kitties thrive in their forever homes. Hereโ€™s to a lifetime of playtime, purrs, and sisterly love! ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ’—
