🐴✨ ANIMAL OF THE MONTH: Flash ✨🐴

Flash is one of our beloved senior horses here at Hidden Bee. Her steps are slower now and her face a little whiter — but her spirit is steady, gentle, and kind. 💛

When Flash came into our care, we were told she was much younger. As time went on and she began struggling to keep weight on, we brought in our veterinarian for a full evaluation. After bloodwork and a thorough exam, everything came back normal — it turns out, she’s simply older than we were originally told.

She’s just an old gal. And now, our focus is making sure her days are comfortable, supported, and full of care for however long we have with her. ✨

Senior horses require intentional, specialized nutrition to maintain weight and overall health, and that’s where we could use your help this month.

Bonnie came to us in the twilight of her life, and we knew from the beginning our time with her would be short. She was a sweet old girl, and we loved her dearly in the time we had with her. After she suffered a stroke, we made the difficult decision to let her go peacefully. She was not alone, she was loved, and she will always be part of Hidden Bee Farm. Enjoy those green pastures, old girl.

☀️🐝 Summer Camp at Hidden Bee Learning is right around the corner!

We’re getting ready for another amazing summer filled with farm adventures, animal time, outdoor exploration, and making unforgettable memories with friends old and new. 🌻🐐🌿

Hidden Bee Learning Summer Camp at Hidden Bee Farm is for ages 3 to 16, with campers grouped by age so each group can stay active, involved, and fully part of the day.

Camp days are spent outdoors with creek time, water fun, animal experiences, hands-on projects, games, and themed adventures. It is the kind of summer camp fun kids still talk about later. Expect them to come home wet, tired, and full of stories.

A big new part of camp this year is our 12 to 16 age group, a mentor-guided, hands-on experience for older kids who are ready for more adventure, more responsibility, and a camp experience that feels built for them.

Some camp groups are already close to full. If you have questions or want help finding the best fit for your child, let us know.

Goldie is one of our beloved senior horses here at Hidden Bee. Her steps are slower now and her face a little whiter — but her spirit is steady, gentle, and kind. 💛

Senior horses require intentional care. As they age, their nutritional needs change and specialized feed becomes essential to keep them healthy and comfortable.

This month, we’re honoring Goldie and making sure her golden years are just that — golden. ✨

A heads-up for families planning ahead: some spots for both Fall Enrollment and Summer Camp have already moved to the waitlist.

Fall Enrollment (Ages 3–7)
Little Explorers (3–5) + Pathfinders (6–7)
Real learning that still feels fun. Hands-on lessons, sensory activities, play-based projects, and core skills built into the day. Kids build confidence, routines, and a love of learning without dread.

Summer Camp (Ages 3–16)
Mud. Farm and animal time. Outdoor adventures. Team games. Hands-on projects. Kids go home muddy, happy, and ready to crash. We group by age so it fits, whether your child is 3 or 16.
