55 animals officially clocked out of shelter life and clocked in to finding their forever families.

Tiny kittens, goofy puppies, sweet seniors, fluffy cats, and a whole crew of cuties all hit the road with CASA last week.

Every single face in this grid (plus more not pictured) is headed toward safety, foster homes, rescues, and second chances thanks to our rescue partners and amazing volunteers!

115 animals, 3 sugar gliders, countless tiny meows, and at least a few “how are we fitting everyone in these vans?” during the weekly game of crate Jenga. 😂

In about 1.5 years, we have had the privilege of releasing six books that teach kids (and adults) the basics of how to properly care for dogs and cats. During that time, we’ve been welcomed into schools all over Middle TN, and a few beyond that, where we’ve been able to share this important message with nearly 13,000 school kids. Our presentations have been licensed by organizations in multiple states, and we are just thrilled to see this important message spread to kids of all ages across the country.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our efforts! Our newest book, “Dog’s Need Shelter, Yes They Do!,” is part of a trilogy focused on food, water, and shelter, the true basics of animal care. With your help, we raised the full $10,000 to match our sponsored amount, and we are beyond grateful.

But we’re not done yet.

We still have a long way to go. A couple years ago, we launched our “CASA for CASA” campaign, a dream of a bigger space where we can increase and improve our lifesaving efforts. And while we’re making progress, we’re not there just yet.

Every dollar, every share, every bit of support keeps us moving forward. Because more space means more animals helped, more lives saved, and a bigger impact for our community.

From giant paws to itty bitty ones, and everything in between… April was one for the books!

In just one month, 562 animals left CASA no longer able to add to the shelter crisis, and 397 kids learned how to be part of the solution through spay and neuter.

That’s pretty incredible!
