Camp will include horse games on the ground and riding! (Bathing, riding, ba****ck, relay games, grooming, saddling etc…)

Drop your kid off after church/lunch to do some Sunday errands and we will spend the day horsin’ around in the sun 🌞 !

Hey everyone ! Below is a link to apply to volunteer at our A Soldier's Child Foundation horse camp event! This event will be held August 13&14! Please see link for more details on shifts, time etc…

We are looking for handy, confident, reliable and experienced horse people! Tasks include catching, grooming, saddling, feeding, holding, leading and turning out horses. We will be happy to give a volunteer hours certificate for resume purposes as well as references.

The event purpose is to help promote these young adults as they go through leadership training to grow into mentors for the youth of our lost veterans through the practice of all things horses!!!

Please answer the questions below and one of our team members will review for approval. -Must have horse experience -Must be able to lift 50lbs -Must be 15 years or older August 13th 9am-10pm August 14th 9am-12pm ( see below for shifts)

We needs lots of help for shopping!!

Birthday shopping for ASC children with July birthdays is NEXT TUESDAY, JUNE 2ND!

We have MORE THAN 80 kids to shop for, so the need is huge! If you can spare some time next Tuesday (even better--bring a group!), we would greatly appreciate your help.

Delilah and Scout putting work in on some cattle! Sorting, driving, roping and branding !

It’s great to get horses out of the same old routine to do something new. Delilah was thriving!! She LOVED working the cows. Scout also did great. Thanks for the opportunity & Mckinley Quarter Horses

Dowling and I had the honor of hosting a table at our platinum sponsor A Soldier's Child Foundation banquet. TN raised over 151k!!

We will be hosting A Soldiers Child here at the farm AUGUST 13th & 14th! I will be posting a volunteer sign up link in the next few weeks if you would like to get involved!

Good morning to all who use our facility!

Gentle reminder to all of our students & staff, generally anyone who uses the farm, to help keep the space tidy & clean! We understand we are not the fanciest facility out there, so let’s all work as a team to make it look it’s best! This includes picking up manure if your horse couldn’t hold it anymore, sweeping the cross eyes when you’re done using them, throwing away your trash in the trash bin, sweeping up the aisle, putting away tack and it’s correct location, and keeping brushes and it’s designated location.

When the barn’s humid, the rain won’t quit, and both you and the horse are running on empty—that’s when winners are made. Anybody can ride when the sun’s out. Champions are built in the dark evenings, with sore muscles, and muddy boots, when quitting sounds easier than saddling up.
