SEEKING MICHIGAN ADOPTER
Meet Tania 🐾❤️
Tania is a 3 month old heeler x. She has short little legs and a thick b***y, so I’m thinking mixed with some low rider. This girl is a spitfire! She loves zooming around, playing with her siblings, and showing off her feisty attitude! Her favorite pass time is digging holes, swimming in her water bowl, and scrounging for food!
❤️ spayed & fully vaccinated
❤️ small and should grow to be a smaller medium sized
❤️ loves an adventure! Always so happy until you stop her fun!
❤️ dog friendly!!
❤️ would make an amazing hiking buddy!
❤️ doing well potty training
❤️ crate trained!!
Tania needs to go to an active family, someone who enjoys hiking or knows how to mentally & physically stimulate her energy! She’s a fast little thing so I think some dog sports could be in her future as well!

With all of the craziness we had going on these past few days, we forgot to post Alison, who flew up here Friday from Texas. She came into the shelter with badly injured legs, one of which had to be amputated. The shelter asked us if we could take her and of course we said yes! She's settling in at her foster home and will be available for adoption soon.

We saved 2 special puppies today from a very over crowded shelter. Both were at risk because of medical problems. No worries little girls Project Hope has you now.

Meet Octavia who is dealing with demodex mange and ear infections.

Introducing Fauna who wasn't being fed a quality puppy food and it affected her front paws.

Both puppies were checked out at the vet today and are heading to wonderful foster homes.

Who can foster Lua who thinks taking naps are her job?

Lua is a 3yo (estimated) Anatolian Shepherd @ 73 lbs who is spayed, UTD on vaccines, fully vetted, and completely housetrained. She has been an absolute joy to have in our family. She is very friendly, quiet (rarely barks), calm, and easy going. She does well in the crate and prefers it when left alone and sometimes when she just wants to chill in it. She loves naps and bedtime and sleeps like it’s her job! She likes chew toys and treats and giving love licks to anyone willing to accept. Lua LOVES toys and plays fetch with herself or anyone wanting to join in. She knows “sit” and is working on other commands. She is doing well on the leash and loves to sniff her way around the neighborhood as we walk. She does much better in the car now that she’s more familiar with riding and on her last trip to the vet sat quietly looking out the window. We don’t have other pets, but she did well in playgroup at the shelter and recently at another foster’s home with medium and large dogs. She very much enjoyed playing and spending time with them. She enjoys wandering around the yard so a fenced yard is needed. Lua is an amazing dog who will make a wonderful, calm, loyal family member.
