This. This right here is what makes the difference. Our patient, Bebe, came in for a dental procedure. These procedures are performed behind closed doors where clients don’t get to see what is going on with their babies. There is no medical reason for Stephanie to spend so much time cleaning Bebe after his procedure. She could be doing a ton of other things right now if she just put Bebe in a cage to recover. He’s extubated. He’s waking up. He doesn’t need Stephanie anymore. But that doesn’t matter. Stephanie is going to make sure that Bebe not only “recovers” from his procedure, but that he wakes up warm and comfortable. She’s going to brush his face and wipe his eyes and dry his fur. No one told her to do this and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t even know she’s being recorded. She’s not doing this because she has to. She’s doing it because she cares. Every day we ask our clients to trust us. We take that responsibility very seriously. We are all very grateful for the trust you put in us to care for your family members. And I am very grateful for the caring, compassionate, and talented staff we have here.
