A message from Liz:

After a great deal of thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult decision to step away from taking on any new clients at this time due to personal health reasons. This was not an easy choice for me to make, because the relationships I have built with both you and your dogs have meant more to me than words can truly express. Being trusted to help your pets grow, learn, and thrive has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
Right now, I need to focus on taking care of myself and getting my health back under control. As hard as it is for me to step back, I know it is what I need to do in order to heal and give myself the time and care I deserve. I have always believed in showing up fully for my clients and their dogs, and at this moment, I simply need to show that same care and compassion to myself.
I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support, kindness, trust, and understanding. Your encouragement, loyalty, and the amazing dogs I’ve had the honor of working with will always hold a special place in my heart. This is not goodbye forever, but rather a necessary pause while I focus on my health and well-being.
With love,
Liz

While SC is not yet endemic for Lyme disease, it’s coming! And that’s just one of many tick-borne diseases our pets, and we, can contract. Make sure your dogs and cats are all on preventions every month and, if you plan to travel to Lyme endemic areas, consider getting your dogs vaccinated against Lyme disease, too!

As temperatures climb, ER visits for tick bites surge. Cases reach highest levels in 10 years, according to CDC data.

We are so sad to say good bye to one of our favorite bestest boys, Walter. His family is being stationed in NY and that’s just too long of a commute to come see us. We will miss you, Walter, but we thank your family for their continued service to our country!
