Cardi was the last kitten from a large rescue project we took on last summer. She had waited very patiently to be adopted for nearly a year and we are SO EXCITED about her new family. She was adopted with Millie, a foster friend she made. Now they get to be sisters for life with the best new parents.

💜Our kitten calendar model for the month of May is Irene!

✨Irene was one of the most shy and timid kittens from her litter. It took her a while (months) to become comfortable and really open up. It’s extra special that she is in the calendar because we hadn’t even planned on it! Kitten photoshoots are fun but not every kitty enjoys them. The photographer is someone they don’t know, there are flashing lights, and unfamiliar smells & sounds.

📸However, during this photoshoot with other kittens, Irene was very curious and seemed to really enjoy the limelight. She kept walking across the backdrop and eventually laid down right in the middle so we got lots of cute pictures of her! Purple is really her color.

😻She was adopted last year with her brother and emotional support cat, Mycroft. They are living happily in their new home together!

🧡We seem to have a theme of orange kittens right now! This little guy was found in the road at three weeks old and he was in rough shape. He had fly eggs on him, ulcers in his mouth and on his nose. He was rescued by a kind individual who had been bottle feeding him around the clock.

🤩She loves to snooze on her cat tree, keep an eye on the neighborhood through the windows, play with toys when she has the zoomies and prefers to eat her meals with you nearby. That means, you’ll always have a reliable dinner date with her.

🧡SunnyD was one of our foster kittens from last summer. He was adopted by his wonderful foster mom . She is graduating from and he got to be in her graduation pictures with her. IS THIS THE CUTEST THING OR WHAT?!

🎓Help us wish congratulations to them both! We appreciate our foster volunteers SO MUCH! If you are a college student and you are interested in fostering, we’d love to have you! We provide all the supplies needed to foster and you get a cute little friend to love on until they are adopted!

🚨We were contacted by for help because they discovered three kittens living in the sewer pipes near their building. The pipes were deep and the kittens were too small to be able to get out on their own. With rain in the forecast for this week, we wanted to get them to safety!

🪤We located the pipe the kittens were hiding in, removed the grates and climbed in so we could set some traps. We blocked off access to the other pipes and set up a trap on each end of the pipe so no matter which way the kittens went, a trap would be waiting for them.

🍀Luckily, all three kittens entered the same trap before it was triggered so we got them all in one go! The babies are about 6.5 weeks old. They are a little nervous and hissy but they’ll come around in no time. We’re hoping to find out where their mom hangs out so we can trap and TNR her!
