Our Campus Biodiesel Guru is set up between Schelleter and Edwards touring the mobile biofuels lab and demonstrating how sunflower can be used to produce a domestically produced clean-burning renewable diesel replacement fuel and create valuable animal feed here in South Carolina. Today we are starting assembly of our biomass gasifier as part of Creative Inquiry-Clemson research on Green Energy and Biofuels. This unit will be collecting data and powering Cherry Crossing Research Center using campus generated woody wastes and blends of sustainably produced algae.
