Virtual Tevis Cup - Completed!

100 miles in 100 days 🙌

Next year the goal is to finish sooner and track our elevation.

It was a challenge for sure, maybe one day we’ll try our luck with the original Tevis Cup. We have a very long way to go before even considering 100 miles in 24 hours. I have tremendous admiration and respect for the riders and equines that have risen to the task.

We’re almost there!!

Life (the weather and my back mostly) have thrown some wrenches into my plan for completing the Virtual Tevis Challenge, but with only 34 miles to go I know KM and I can get it done!

To everyone preparing for the real Tevis Cup Ride I have the utmost respect for what you have to do to get you and your equine ready for this ride. I wish you all the best of luck for a safe and successful ride!

The princess and I are out adventuring now that school and work are out for the summer.

Thanks to some creative 3D printing by the hubs we were able to add electric to the portable panels so now my sassy girl respects the fence appropriately.

We even have a mulie neighbor this time!

This weekend started the 2026 endurance season for Kinzie and I.

Last year we managed 128 trail riding miles, completing four rides (one intro and three LDs).

This year I am hoping to complete 100 miles across multiple AERC/OAATS events.

To help make sure we reach our goal I have registered us for the Virtual Tevis 😱 100 miles in 100 days….

If we complete the virtual race AND the various races I have planned for this year, KM and I will complete over 200 miles in 2026.

So keep your fingers crossed……

Just lounging in my trailer listening to the rain.

I could take down my panels since KM has a stall for the evening, but why get soaked in the rain when I can be dry and comfortable in my trailer 🤷‍♀️

Finished our first endurance ride of the year 🙌

Since we’re starting the season with a new saddle (Freeform Treeless) we started light with an 11 mi intro ride. My girl was perfect. 😍 We had a blast, rode through the rain and passed all the vet checks.

We have some work to do before we’re ready for an LD this year, but we’re off to an excellent start 🩷

This ride even had food trucks 😱
