Not only is she a top-notch veterinarian, but she also graduated with her Master’s in Public Health 👏📚 Talk about brains AND talent!

🚫🌭 Holiday Cookout Reminder for Pet Parents! 🐾

While we’re enjoying burgers, BBQ, and sweet treats this holiday weekend, remember that many cookout foods can be dangerous for our pets.

❌ Foods to avoid giving your pets:
• Corn cobs – can cause serious intestinal blockages
• Cooked bones – may splinter and injure the stomach or intestines
• Onions & garlic – toxic to dogs and cats
• Grapes & raisins – can cause kidney failure
• Chocolate desserts – toxic and potentially life-threatening
• Alcohol – even small amounts can be dangerous
• Fatty meats & scraps – may lead to pancreatitis
• Xylitol (found in sugar-free foods/gum) – extremely toxic to dogs

✅ Safer options:
Plain grilled chicken, seedless watermelon, carrots, green beans, or pet-safe treats in moderation!

If your pet gets into something concerning, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital right away.

Dr. Lee has been practicing as a veterinarian for 11 years! She is originally from the northern Virginia / DC area. She moved to TN 2 years ago and loves it! She enjoys spending time with her growing family, she is expecting baby #2 in July! Her hobbies include hiking, skiing, reading, exploring new places and orange theory workout classes! She has 3 dogs named Sprinkles, Ms. Jackson & Kevin! Her guilty TV pleasure is watching 90 day fiancé!
