It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Iykyk, life has changed and been a bit chaotic! This week we have had trail ride week and all the kids so far have been doing great and they got to lead the whole ride on their own with only encouragement from me from behind. So proud of everyone so far! Hopefully the rain has moved on and we can continue tomorrow and end our week on a high note!

It was Addi’s birthday today! She wanted to decorate Teddy for some birthday pictures 🫶🏻 they also had a great lesson together as she loped him for the first time!

Happy Sunday all! Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday! Looks like we are about out of the worst of the heat dome (yayyyy!!) so lessons will resume this week for most!

A quick change- I will be honest and I’m not always the most organized person- so in order to do better- beginning August 1- I will begin sending invoices for the month on Venmo or CashApp. To be eligible for any discounts- invoices will need to be paid by the 5th of the month…but don’t hesitate to wait until your lesson or a later date if needed- I’m VERY understanding!
That being said- I will also be sending you personal messages confirming any lesson dates (this mainly applies to any biweekly students) and confirming any time you or myself will be out of town.
If any lessons are rained out or cancelled on my part- I will obviously ensure make ups or made up by the end of the month at our convenience OR I will roll into the next month with a credit. This change is mainly for me to organize myself better so that I can have all paperwork needed at the end of the year (again, I’ve been bad about it this year and that’s on me!)

Also- just a reminder- everyone will need to be in boots by August 1 and I’m happy to see that almost everyone has already done so ❤️🥹

One more thing! Beginning August 1- I will be bringing a prize incentive for “Cowgirl of the Month” the most improved or hardest working Cowgirl at the end of every month will receive a personal prize AND one free lesson for the following month! I just want to give back to the kids who make it all possible here!

It brings me great joy to share my blessings with the world ❤️ this photo shoot of one my lesson students came out amazing! I sure do love seeing the beautiful art work from the photographers when they book with me! It truly does make my heart so full.

All lessons this week will be ground lessons- unfortunately the temps plus humidity numbers are well above unsafe for horses to be ridden and worked so we will be working on horse care, bathing, and ground lessons! Thanks for understanding! Still monitoring Wednesday and Thursday lessons as this will be the hottest days of the week and I will decide what I’m doing by tomorrow evening. Thank you.

Well, my nightmare has arrived 🥵 the dreaded summer time temps.
Please read carefully and initial once read. Next week is going to have extremely high indexes with humidity and already high temps. Some newer parents might not know this yet- but I have medical issues that don’t allow me to handle those kind of temperatures without getting extremely ill. There is a very real possibility that next week I’ll have to move some of you to the early hours of 7-8 am for lessons or we will have unmounted lessons in the shade working on horsemanship, bathing, and overall health care for the horses. They also don’t deserve to work in this heat when it gets extreme like this.
That also being said- there may be some lesson students that will have cancelled lessons all together and I apologize for that- but I have to put my health and my horses health first. I will keep everyone updated over this next week and will speak in person to who will need to show up extra early- and who will be having unmounted lessons instead.
