Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue An abundance of unwanted canines are in government-run facilities. Please help us save them. ❤️ 🐶

We aim to work with government-run animal intake facilities to rescue canines from being euthanized. Our part in a successful rescue involves a health check before arriving at our facility, specialized care if needed, temperament testing with other animals, our own technique to destress animals until they are adopted, and assisting other nonprofits to achieve their goals. d to showcase our rescued canines that are available for adoption. We use fundraising as a way to help offset medical costs and those associated with rescuing animals from animal control and humane societies in 10 states.

Adoptions slowing: Fewer people are adopting as they cope with housing challenges and costs, resulting in longer shelter stays for dogs.

Rescues adapting: Groups use foster homes, thorough matching, and community volunteers to keep rescuing dogs despite limited capacity.
