Chicago French Bulldog Rescue Chicago French Bulldog Rescue (CFBR) was launched to protect French Bulldogs from neglect, abuse, loss of family and theft.

We rescue them from animal shelters and puppy mills. We help families and individuals that can no longer care for their Frenchies. A rescue that helps French Bulldogs in need- all of our foster dogs stay in foster homes and not in a shelter.

Hi, it’s me… Dee Dee 💕

I made it home—and let me tell you, I’ve got this whole thing figured out already.

I’ve got my own fancy crate, a VERY important lamb bed (mine, don’t touch 🐑), and a growing toy collection that I take extremely seriously. I’m settling in, keeping watch over my house, and making sure my moms know they made the best decision ever.

They had a really special Frenchie before me… and I think they needed a little Dee Dee energy in their lives. I’m doing my best to fill their home with love (and a little personality 😉).

Safe, loved, and exactly where I’m supposed to be 💖

and walked out the same way—stronger than cancer and fully owning it 💪

After everything she’s faced, this wasn’t just another visit.
This was a moment.

A quiet, confident, no-looking-back kind of victory.

• Easy to care for, great listener, and very patient
• Needs someone home often (or able to check in every ~4 hours)
