Aris is a sweet 1-year-old mixed-breed boy who was rescued from the streets of Aley after being dumped and left without a home. 💔

Thankfully, he’s safe with us now, but what Aris truly needs is a family to give him the love, safety, and stability he deserves. 🥺🏡

Despite his heartbreaking past, Aris is still friendly, playful, and full of love to give. 🐶✨ He’s also good with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for a loving family. 🤍

Aris didn’t deserve to be abandoned on the streets. He deserves to be chosen, loved, and given a home where he will never have to wonder if he belongs. ❤️

He’s only 1 year old and has his whole life ahead of him. 🥹🐾 All he needs is someone willing to open their heart and give him the forever home he’s been waiting for. 🏡✨

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗘 🚨

This precious 3-month-old soul, named Amber 🐱🤍

Was found lying helpless on the side of the road near our shelter 💔

Suffering from devastating, life-threatening injuries 🚨

At just a few weeks old, no kitten should ever have to endure this kind of pain 💔🐾

Upon initial assessment, Amber has multiple severe fractures and open wounds along her back leg 🩹

But her most heartbreaking injury lies in her pelvic region 💔

Between her hind legs, she has suffered a deep, extensive tissue injury

A severe open wound surrounded by raw, sloughing tissue and heavily contaminated with debris 🩸🚨

Signaling a delayed rescue from a horrific traumatic event 💔

Amber is currently under critical veterinary care 🏥

To manage both the deep groin wound and the open injuries on her back leg, she requires repeated wet-to-dry surgical wound dressings under anesthesia 🩺

To clean out necrotic tissue and encourage healthy skin granulation 🤍

The damage to her right back leg is unfortunately too severe to save 💔

So once the pelvic tissue closes and heals sufficiently, she will undergo surgery to amputate the unsalvageable limb 🐾

For now, Amber remains admitted in the Intensive Care Unit 🏥

Where she receives round-the-clock pain management, IV fluids, targeted antibiotics, and delicate, continuous wound care for all her injuries 💉🩹

Amber is a fighter 🐱❤️‍🩹

But she cannot fight this battle alone 🙏

Her medical journey will be long, complex, and costly 💔

𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀

A Plea for the Dogs of Lebanon

There is a heartbreaking reality unfolding in Lebanon that we can no longer ignore. 💔

More and more dogs are being found shot, severely injured, abandoned, and left fighting for their lives. It feels as though it is open season on innocent animals, animals who have done nothing to deserve such cruelty. 🐾💔

A gunshot takes only a second.

But the pain, fear, injuries, medical bills, and emotional scars can last a lifetime. 💔

These dogs trusted humans. Some approached the wrong person. Others simply happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. And now, they are paying the price for someone else’s cruelty. 😔

🐾 Meet Some of the Recent Victims

🔹 Xaden - A 7-year-old Husky, likely abandoned and still trusting of people. He approached the wrong person and was shot point-blank in the side. 💔

🔹 Nyrah - Only 2.5 years old, she was shot in the face and hip/leg and is now fighting to recover. 🥺

🔹 Marshie - A 6-year-old Pointer, shot in the face. A breed associated with hunting, yet another innocent victim of senseless violence. 💔

🔹 Marlow - Also 6 years old and a Pointer, Marlow was shot in the face, left with injuries that may forever mark what was done to him. 😔

🔹 Calluna - Just 3 years old, this young Husky was shot in the leg and now faces a long road to recovery. 🐾

These are only five examples of the dogs we have recently taken in. Behind every one of them is a life, a personality, and a story that should have been very different. 💔

🚨 They Need Us Now

Their injuries require urgent medical care; surgeries, X-rays, medication, hospitalization, wound care, rehabilitation, and ongoing treatment. 🏥🐾

And with every emergency comes another medical bill. 💔

There are simply more dogs in need than we have resources to help.

But we cannot turn our backs on them. 🐾

They did not choose this.
They did not deserve this.
And their stories should not end with a bullet. 💔

Two months ago, our intakes were completely full, we had zero space, zero resources, and no room to spare. 🥺

But when this tiny, helpless face needed us, turning a blind eye simply wasn’t an option. 🤍🐾

At barely eight weeks old, Pebbles had already used up a few of his nine lives. 🐱✨

He was rescued off a bustling highway after miraculously dodging moving cars. 🚗💨

We believe he clung for safety inside a car engine before making a brave run for it when traffic slowed down. 🥺

Thankfully, a kind soul spotted him in the nick of time and brought him into our arms. 🤲🏻🤍

Look at him now! 🥹✨

Pebbles, our brave male kitten, has blossomed into a thriving, healthy 4-month-old with his entire life ahead of him. 🐾💙

He has traded terrifying highway traffic for cozy naps, playful pounces, and endless purrs. 💤🐱💕

He is fully recovered, full of personality, and officially ready to find his forever home. 🏡✨

After a rough start to life, Pebbles deserves a lifetime of safety, warm laps, and unconditional love. 🤍

💔 Meet Sparks.

A sweet boy of around 3 years old who was rescued from the streets of Koura.

When we found him, the reality was heartbreaking.

His jaw was severely broken.

He was scared.
Confused.
In pain.

Yet despite everything he has endured…
Sparks is still fighting. 🤍

His broken jaw means he urgently needs surgery. 🏥

Surgery that will help him heal.
Eat properly.
