The Caldwell Vet Clinic does a lot of adoptions for the City Animal Control. The Animal Control's impound facility is on the premises, so we are able to take photos of the strays and post them online for everyone to see! For all of the animals available for adoption, the adoption fee is $55.20. This fee includes a wellness exam, a f***l exam to check for intestinal parasites, deworming if needed,
a bath, capstar (24hr flea pill), and a rabies vaccination if the animal is over 12 weeks of age. Puppies are going to be sent home with a puppy kit which includes their first dose of flea/heartworm prevention. Kittens get the kitten version of that and also includes flea/heartworm prevention. If you adopt a puppy or kitten that is under 12 weeks of age, your rabies vaccination is still included in the adoption fee. You would just need to bring your new puppy or kitten back at 12 weeks old for that.
