Our Pet of the Week, Shadow ( black Schnoodle puppy), got to visit Nala for some play time! Shadow is 14 weeks old - he is a Schnauzer/Poodle mix. As soon as he is neutered he will be available for adoption. Go to bhcsaint.org to fill out an adoption application.

It's called KEEPING HOPE ALIVE!!!! What were you doing at 2-4 AM this morning????? Well, staff of Mohave County Animal Shelter in Kingman, volunteers for Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter and Pet Angel Foundation were busy loading up high risk and long term residents ( mainly large breed dogs) into airline kennels to be flown by "Dog is my Co- Pilot" to Utah where they will be greeted by Best Friends Animal Society. This is how lives are saved. Working to save lives EVERYDAY. Not just during business hours on dedicated days of the week. Again, keeping hope alive for some who were losing hope here in this County. Thank you to all. It was an amazing and humbling experience to witness this. It was early but knowing their precious cargo has a chance for a long loving life in a home made losing sleep worthwhile! The first photo says it all. Look at those faces as they watched the plane take off.... that's love and dedication at its finest!

P.S. then after this morning, many of these people will be going back to the shelter to work their shifts today and volunteers will be cleaning, walking AND will be doing adoption events at Bullhead and Kingman Petsmart ........ these people are rock stars.
