🧡 Meet John Deere! 🐾

John Deere was found hanging out in a riding lawn mower, but this sweet boy was ready to trade outdoor life for the comforts of an indoor home! His adorable little ears show signs of the hard life he lived outside, but we think they just add to his charm! 😻

John’s goal in life? To be close to his humans! ❤️ He’s ready to be your shadow, couch buddy, and very best friend.

Is John Deere the companion you’ve been looking for? He’s applying for the job! Apply at bahs.us to meet him! 🧡

🐾 WHERE ARE THEY WEDNESDAYS! 🐾

Keep those alumni stories coming; we love hearing how our BAHS alumni are doing! ❤️

First up is sweet Oreo, now known as Cookie! 🍪 We’re so happy to see this girl living her best life!

Next are Pumpkin Pie & Luna Tuna, formerly S’more & Jolene. 🐱🐱 Since being adopted, these two have become best friends! ❤️

And lastly, River & Brook, who were all worn out after a busy day of watching their humans work! 😴😂 Being a supervisor is hard work!

Thank you to our wonderful adopters for giving these sweet alumni loving forever homes!️

ive-year-old Dice is hoping that her next home will be her forever home! 🥰

Dice was adopted from us a few years ago, but unfortunately things didn’t work out with the other cats in the household. So this sweet girl is back with us and ready for a fresh start!

Dice would prefer to be the only pet in the home, but when it comes to people, she is ALL IN! ❤️ She loves her humans and is ready to be your loyal companion, cuddle buddy and best friend.

If you’re looking for a cat who will shower you with love and be by your side, come meet Dice! She may just be the BFF you’ve been looking for. 🐱💕

Fill out an online application at bahs.us or come meet her at the shelter! We are open today - Friday from 2-5:00 pm and Saturday from noon - 4:00 pm.

Hi, it’s me, Bobby McGee, the most interesting cat in the world. 😺

You may already know me from last week, since the staff introduced me on the Facebook Machine then, but I’m proud to debut as Meow Mayor tonight, as well.

As you may know from my adoring fans (staff and volunteers), I’m cool, calm, collected, and ridiculously handsome, all of which make me uniquely qualified for the Meow Mayor position. Besides that, I’m an excellent snuggler, and if there’s a lap in sight, you better believe I’m sitting in it. 😽

Most importantly, my toe beans come in different colors! 🐾

That said, I do need to be an only cat. I have what’s known as FeLV, which isn’t contagious to dogs or humans, but can spread to other cats. FeLV-positive cats can live happy, loving lives, and you’ll get plenty of support from BAHS after you bring me home. Plus, my adoption fee is waived!

In conclusion, while I’m a perfect Meow Mayor, I’ll be an even better cat. Come meet me today and see for yourself! 🥰

Bobby McGee.
