Well, I wasn’t expecting this recognition!
This is all just so crazy 🤪 but I’m humbled, shocked, honestly that I am receiving this and honored!
I’ve worked extremely hard the last 3.5 almost 4 years to bring a change to pet care with Fear Free certifications. To train dogs ethically without fear, pain, outdated ideologies, and harsh equipment.
We were the first in the State to have Fear Free groomers on staff. We are still the only grooming salon with private suites that I am aware of in the state.
My goal has been to always be open, honest, to love the dogs in our care, and build positive relationships. To give grace and understanding when needed, but to also not be a doormat either.
I’m a wife, mom, author, business owner, teacher to my kids, friend, boss, community member. Along with that and more, I’ve worked full time for a long time at a regular day/night job while running all of this getting it off the ground!
To date we partner with both vet offices in Boone, 4+ shelters across Boone and Story counties.
We sponsor many non-profits in the dog world!
We donate gift baskets for raffles, free grooms to those in need, active in our community, and so much more!
It takes a team and I’ve got a pretty awesome mighty one!
