🚴‍♀️ RAGBRAI is coming to Boone! If you didn't know... now you know! 😉

With thousands of riders passing by our veterinary clinic, we're making a few changes to our schedule on Tuesday, July 21.

🐾 Clinic Hours:
• Regular appointments: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• After 12:00 PM: Urgent Care only (please call ahead)
• We will be closing at 5:30 PM.

Since Boone is an overnight stop, we expect the busiest time to be between 2:00–7:00 PM as we welcome lots of new friends to town, which may make traveling to our clinic challenging.

💧 We'll also be handing out FREE water and electrolyte packets to RAGBRAI riders as they pass by (while supplies last)! There are fun dog toys that were donated by Boehringer Ingelheim that will be available as well.

Our team has decided to have a free will donation bucket available to help our client families in our community who are struggling with unexpected veterinary expenses. Several of our client families are currently facing large bills after emergency care for their pets, and we'd love to help ease that burden.

There's absolutely no expectation to donate—we're simply happy to support the riders. But if they feel inspired to give back, every dollar will go directly toward helping our Helping Hands pets receive the care they need and lessen the burden on their people that love them. ❤️

We can't wait to welcome everyone to Boone! Safe travels, and we'll see you Tuesday!

We hope you enjoy the cuteness of our dogs in costumes. All of these pups were tolerant of their parents making them dress up - Kirby took about 4 different attempts and lots of treats to sit still!!
