If your pet went missing tomorrow, could someone easily get in touch with you?
A microchip can be one of the most important tools for getting a lost pet back home — but a microchip only works if the information registered to it is accurate and up to date. ❤️
Take a few minutes today to:
🔹 Make sure your pet has a microchip
🔹 Have your pet’s chip scanned to make sure it can be detected
🔹 Check that your name, phone number, email and address are current
🔹 Update the information if you’ve moved or changed phone numbers
🔹 If you adopted a pet, make sure the chip is registered to YOU
And remember: microchips are not GPS trackers. They provide permanent identification that can be scanned if your pet is found.
📱 A changed phone number or address could make the difference between a lost pet coming home quickly — or not finding their way back to you.

Phoebe's motto? No bad days!

Whether she's sporting her adorable summer haircut or bouncing through a fresh blanket of winter snow, one thing never changes—Phoebe is always full of joy!

At almost 9 years old, this happy girl still has plenty of pep in her step and reminds us every day that age is just a number. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she's proof that every day is a great day when you greet it with a wagging tail.

With the 4th of July just around the corner, now is the time to think ahead if your pup gets anxious during fireworks.

🌼 Arnica Montana for Dogs: A Natural Support for Soreness & Injury Recovery 🐾
Arnica montana is one of the most commonly used homeopathic remedies for dogs or cats. experiencing acute muscle strain, swelling, bruising, or soreness. It can be especially helpful for conditions such as swimmer's tail, minor injuries, overexertion, or post-procedure discomfort.
How to Use Arnica Montana 30C:
✔️ Choose the Right Potency
Look for Arnica montana 30C, which is commonly available at health food stores or at Animal Wellness Veterinary Clinic
✔️ Standard Dosage
• 3-5 pellets
Unlike conventional medications, homeopathic remedies are not dosed based on your dog's size or weight.
✔️ Administration Tips
• Give on a clean palate, no food or water for at least 5 minutes before or after oral administration.
• Avoid hiding pellets in food.
• Crush pellets and directly put into the lip or cheek pouch.
• Avoid touching pellets with your hands when possible.
• If needed, dissolve 3-5 pellets in a small amount of filtered water and gently administer to the gums or inside the cheek using a plastic syringe.

🐾 What Is Swimmer’s Tail? 🐾

Has your dog ever come home from a day of swimming, playing hard, or even traveling in a crate and suddenly started carrying their tail limp? They may be experiencing Swimmer’s Tail, also known as Acute Caudal Myopathy or Limber Tail Syndrome.

Swimmer’s tail is a painful muscle strain that affects the tail and is most commonly seen after:
🏊 Prolonged swimming
🎾 Intense exercise or play
❄️ Exposure to cold water or wet weather
🚗 Extended crate confinement or travel
🐕 Sudden vigorous activity after a period of rest

Signs to watch for:
• Tail hanging straight down or drooping suddenly
• Pain or sensitivity at the base of the tail
• Whining, lethargy, or decreased appetite
• Difficulty sitting comfortably or finding a comfortable resting position

The good news? Swimmer’s tail is highly treatable and most dogs recover within a few days to two weeks with proper care.

Treatment typically includes:
✔️ Rest and restricted activity
✔️ Veterinary evaluation for pain relief and anti-inflammatory medications if needed
✔️ Warm compresses applied to the base of the tail (if tolerated)

Meet Mildred, our favorite desk-clearing Frenchie! Every visit is a whirlwind of wiggles, kisses, and excitement. The moment she walks through the door, it's all tail wags, happy snorts, and anything left within reach of her enthusiastic little body is fair game.

Trying to get a photo of Mildred is a challenge—she's simply too busy spreading joy and making friends. This single blurry action shot is proof that she was here... and moving at full speed! 💨🐾
