Adoption Update!

Nahla came to us back in February of this year. She was being fostered by one of our volunteers and it was their first time fostering a dog. She is the best first dog and they couldn’t imagine their life without her! She is now heartworm free and living her best life!

Especially when it’s time spent with some of our adorable kittens from our Poets Litter!

Everyone meet Poe, Sappho, Whitman, Angelou, and Bishop. These adorable babies came to us from a local cat colony with their mom after a good samaritans helped trap them so they could be socialized and find their forever families! They are now ready to find their purrfect forever homes.

They can be a little reserved at first, but are very playful and affectionate once they warm up. They would do best being adopted in pairs as they help give each other confidence.

If you are interested in adopting Poe or another one of our animals, please submit the application below and submit the $5 application fee. Please also take the time to review our adoption requirements including our vaccine and preventative requirements for existing pets in the home. If your pet is not up to date on veterinary care, we kindly ask that you have that completed prior to applying since we cannot hold any animals.

Happy Father’s Day! We hope everyone has a great day. We usually have more intakes of mothers and kittens however, we will take this time to introduce our one adult male, who probably was a father before he came to us.

Meet Tacky! He is a male now neutered, 2yr old orange and white cat. Tacky had a severe upper respiratory infection when he came to us and we believe it caused some damage to his nasal passages. This means he may have some chronic sneezing 🤧 but he is not contagious! He also has some scarring on his one eye. However, he doesn’t let this stop him from enjoying his best life! He still has kitten energy but is also down to just chill and relax.

Meet two of our longest cat residents, Blair in Waldorf. They have been with us since 4/11/2025! Waldorf is Blair’s daughter and they have always been together. Blair is very outgoing and loves other cats. Waldorf is a little on the shy side at first, trusting her mom to guide the way. They do great with other cats, dogs and older kids.

Meet Neela! She was a pull from a county shelter after we had to amputate her back leg. She has since made a full recovery and is ready to be loved on in her new home! She would do best in quieter home where she can lounge around in the sun. She does well with other cats and more low energy dogs.
