Today, I’m walking out of my legal advisor’s office with a smile on my face and gratitude in my heart.
There are some battles you fight publicly, and there are some battles you fight quietly with tears, prayers, sleepless nights, and faith.
I went through one of the darkest seasons of my life. While I was already grieving the loss of someone very close to my family, I suddenly found myself dealing with another painful situation that affected my career, my reputation, and my peace of
mind.
There were days of anxiety. There were days I felt overwhelmed. There were moments when I asked God, “Why now? Why, when I’m already hurting?”
But I kept praying.
I kept trusting.
I kept reminding myself that God knew the truth, even when I felt misunderstood.
And today, that chapter has come to a close.
I don’t need to share the details. I don’t need to mention names. I don’t need to prove anything on social media. All I can say is that I am leaving my legal advisor’s office today happy, grateful, at peace, and satisfied with the resolution.
And most of all, I give God ALL the glory.
So if you’re watching this while going through your own storm, please don’t believe that one bad season means your story is over.
Cry if you need to cry. Grieve if you need to grieve. But don’t give up.
Keep your faith. Keep telling the truth. Keep your heart clean. And allow God to fight the battles you cannot fight by yourself.
Sometimes vindication doesn’t come the way you expected it to but when God brings you through, you will understand why you had to keep going.
Today, I’m smiling again.
This chapter is closed.
And I’m walking into the next one with peace, gratitude, and faith.
To my family, the people who stood beside me, and my legal team thank you.
And to God be ALL the glory. 🙏🏾❤️
