Client Service Representatives (CSRs) are the front lines of our hospital - they are that first voice you hear answering the phones, the first face you see upon stepping through our doors - making appointments, sending and receiving records, checking patients in and out. Our CSRs are the connection between clients and our medical team, helping ensure every visit is smooth, informed, and compassionate.🐾

Beyond just their day-to-day duties, they are also building connections and relationships with all who come to SBVH. As does our whole team, they too share in your joy of welcoming a new pet and in your sadness when you lose one. They are here for you!💙

Today we want to showcase our veterinary technicians again but by putting a name to the face you see when you bring your furry companion to SBVH, along with our amazing treatment assistants! When you happen to stop by the hospital, take a peek in our lobby at the wall of our techs (and whole staff) to learn a little bit about them.🐾

SO we just want to give them another shout out because behind every great veterinarian there are incredible veterinary technicians who lead with compassion, dedication, and a whole lot of heart.⁠💙

Veterinary technicians are the ones who hold it together when everything is falling apart. They know every patient by name, read every anxious owner in the room, and carry the emotional weight of it all home at the end of the day.

You deserve to be celebrated this week and every week! Thank you for all you do.🐶💙🐱

October 18th - 24th marks National Veterinary Technician Week this year, but at SBVH we do something a little different as we have every year. Not only do we celebrate our amazing vet techs, we also celebrate our awesome staff such as our CSR’s, kennel team, maintenance, managers, and doctors! So each day we want to show case our staff - today starting with our technicians. It's officially the fall season which means we're soaking up every minute of daylight we can get especially with the lovely cool breeze and sunny days we've been having!

Here are 7 fun activities for you and your furry best friend to try this season:
🍁Leaf-Peeping Walks & Piles: Take scenic hikes through changing foliage or let your dog sniff, explore, and jump into fresh leaf piles.
🎃Pumpkin Patches & Orchards: Visit local pet-friendly pumpkin patches or apple orchards. (Always check ahead to confirm pets are allowed in the picking areas.)
🍂Local Fall Events & Festivities: Check out seasonal pet celebrations, such as Yarn & Bone Pet Supply Company's Trunk or Treat for Dogs in Camden, Delaware on October 22, 2026.
