Scooter and Tizzy are Umbrella Cockatoos and they came in for a routine beak/wing trim with Dr. Ketchum! Regular beak and wing trims can be an important part of keeping your feathered friends healthy, safe, and comfortable! Proper beak maintenance helps prevent overgrowth and difficulty eating, while wing trims can reduce the risk of injuries and accidents around the home. Healthy bird = happy bird! 💕🪶

Dr. Barrack is a Louisiana native who turned her childhood love for animals into her dream career. Her special interests include surgery, ophthalmology, and exotic animal medicine inspired daily by her own pet sulcata tortoise, Oogway! 🐢 Off duty, she’s a proud wife and mom of a 1 year old, loves to bake, spend time outdoors, and play beach volleyball! 🏐 Dr. Barrack is incredibly excited to trade the classroom for the clinics and start building wonderful relationships with local pets and their owners!
